First of all, thanks to all of you who have posted information in these forums. It is greatly appreciated and has probably prevented me from going mental over the last few days.

Secondly, for those of you who don't want to read the whole post, Magnum Synthetic Urine will pass the Quest Diagnostics SAP 10-50/2000 W/NIT test.

And now the story...

I had been interviewing with a company for two months in the San Diego area. They finally sent me an offer, but I had to take an unexpected drug test and had only four days to prep. There was no way I was going to pass with my own urine so I drove around town and eventually found the Magnum product. By the way, it has a gun on the box now, not Clint or whatever else was on it. Three places I went to were sold out and it was the only product they carried (I took that as a good sign) and The Black doesn't carry any synthetics, so don't waste your time going there. Try Aztec in the SDSU area.

The product comes pre-mixed in a bottle with a flip-top which has a thermo strip attached. It looks and tastes like real piss (just kidding...) It also includes a heat pad, rubber band and directions. You heat it in the microwave until it's the right temperature. I apparently have a 50,000 Watt microwave because after 15 seconds it was way too hot. I let it cool down to the right temperature and packed it under my ball sack in my tight briefs and kept checking the temperature over the next hour to see how fast it would cool. I figured I needed the heat pad down there too to keep it warm on the way to the testing place (which was a hospital). The waiting room was backed up, so I knew it would take a while to actually do the test, but they had a bathroom right there, so I ducked in and checked the temp occasionally. About 20 or 30 minutes before the test I ditched the heat pad (the temp was a little over 100).

They took me into a room and made me empty my pockets and then gave me my stuff back. I didn't have to put on a gown. They gave me the cup and took me to the bathroom and told me not to flush the toilet or I'd have to give another sample. I shut and locked the door, pissed in the toilet first, in case they were listening, and then whipped out the bottle and filled it to the line. The temperature was 96. It took the whole bottle of Magnum. I pissed in the toilet again, walked out and gave her the sample. She was at the end of the hall so I don't think she was listening. Then she sent me to another bathroom to wash my hands so I didn't see her actually test the temperature. The control form she gave me has a check box next to the "Is temperature between 90 and 100 within 4 minutes of the specimen being given." When I got back, she had me verify that the label on the bottle matched the one on the control form and I was done. They sent it by courier to Quest Diagnostics. My employer had the results back within 24 hours and I passed.

The best advice I can give you is to practice heating it up and pay attention to how fast it cools. Sorry this is so detailed, but I had a lot of concerns about exactly how the test was going to be performed and I hope this thread can keep someone from freaking out like I was.
