Out of the blue I'm blessed with two job offers yesterday. First job does not require a test but the second does - and it just so happens to be the best offer. A little background on me:

I'm in my early 30's 5'4" 130lbs normal metabolism (female). I'm a relatively heavy user and smoked a bowl of the mid/high grade stuff about 4 hours before getting the offers yesterday in afternoon.

At this point I don't have enough time to practice substitution (never done it before) and dilution is the only option. I have a full bottle of Quick-Detox 2 tablets and plan on buying a detox drink and home test to take before going to the lab.

I've used the total body cleanse from a well-known website (not sure if I can post it here - let me know if you want the name) and passed two tests without a problem. Unfortunately I don't have the time to order and go through the process. This is the first time I'll be testing relying on dilution...eeek.

My boyfriend (also a heavy user) has taken the detox drink after smoking the night before and passed. I'm hoping the drink in addition to the Quick-Detox tabs will do the trick. Any ideas/thoughts/opinions? What are my chances of passing?

We don't really recommend using store bought "detox" drinks or pills (at least, I don't.) They are expensive and not very dependable. There is a dilution method stickied at the top of this forum. Good luck.

I've been reading posts on subs and I may be able to pull substituting off. Yesterday I bought 2 home tests and aspirin. I planned on taking one test after taking the Quick-Detox 2 bottles to see what happens (the bottle comes w/ enough for 2 tests). I figured if I pass the first test I shouldn't have much of a problem passing again a day later...am I being overconfident???

I'm drinking tons of water and colostrum, which gave me a negative result years ago (on a home test) after being clean for 2 weeks (I smoked some strong stuff and for a long time then too). And continue to take my multi-vitamins and sun chlorella-A (yes, I'm really into supplements, etc lol)

So far I've learned that I can use clean urine from anyone regardless of gender. At this point I can only use one my boys' urine - I have three penguins, twins 8 and a 6 year old. I recently moved to this area and don't know anyone who is clean with whom I feel comfortable getting a sample from, if ya know what I mean. PLEASE let me know if I shouldn't substitute with SMALL CHILDREN, I don't see a reason not to, but again, I'm far from being an expert on the subject.

I'm thinking about getting some temp strips tomorrow morning, using a bottle of shampoo or eye drops and putting them in my inner thigh and start practicing the temp readings. I figure I'll do both subs and dilution - if I can't get this sub thing down I'll dilute and be a paranoid freak who will drive my boyfriend nuts for, I don't know 24-48 hrs. lol or get this subs thing down and do that. Once the temp is OK'd by the lab you are good to go; considering this is a pre-employment test I don't need to worry about observation.

As I said, I've been reading the posts and think I can do this. If there is anything I should know, PLEASE let me know. TIA!

It's pretty generally accepted that detox drinks are a waste of money. It's usually the water that dilutes you and not the detox components. Read the dilution sticky and practice, practice, practice. I'm 29 days clean and still can't pass a test on my own. So far I've done two dilution dry runs and am able to pass a test. I'm doing a 3rd dry run now. I'm going into my test with Quick Fix strapped to my leg and will be diluted as well. Have you stopped smoking? How long do you have before your test needs to be taken? You may or may not be on the borderline for dilution to successfully work. You really need to abstain for a couple of days minimum.

The last time I smoked was on Friday (2 days ago) - a few hours before getting the job offers. I am testing tomorrow at any time during the day, being a heavy smoker I'm not very confident about passing using the dilution method alone. Its too big a risk. I'm doing a dry run now on the quick detox 2 pills (I only have two kits to test at home) to see what happens. I'll likely substitute, will start practicing in a little bit. I've already accepted one of the offers, the job that is requiring testing is really the one I want but if I happen to fail I'll have the other to fall back on.

Detox pills are bullshit, if you follow the dilution sticky perfectly you might pass, but you have not been creatine loading...

If you use your kid's piss, and get the temp right, you will pass for sure...

I was going through the same thing. Read my post "heavy user needs help".
I've read on the internet how these drinks don't work, but Strip NC with Psyeroll(or something like that) worked. I've passed 4 home test now and not the cheap ones, I bought $60 test.
It gives you a diaherra and makes you pee like crazy. I have my real test on tuesday and I know i'll pass. I would try it, it is about 60 bucks as well.
Read my post, i hope it helps. we're abouth the same height and weight so it's easier for us to get clean. good luck

You didn't detox, you diluted. Please don't confuse people.

Everyone is different, and a heavy user with very little clean time is way better off substituting...

Mchlwrrn, I'm not familiar with the product you used. I'm assuming you plan on taking it again the night before or the morning you test? I don't mean to make you paranoid, but I would be prepared to have enough time to get a bottle in case you don't pass the home test right before going to the lab. I would actually take it regardless, to be safe, but that's just me.

Remember, you didn't detox, no drink or pill can do that in a few hours. You diluted. I've detoxed before with success but it takes a minimum of 4 days for a heavy used like myself and took a series of pills, powders and drinks.

I do believe my body cleans itself faster, probably because I take so many vitamins & supplements. I don't exercise much other than run after my kids but I'm an active person.

I took the detox pills and will test in about an hour. I found a 2oz bottle I've cleaned well and put a thermo from one of the home tests. I've been able to keep the temp at 96 degrees under my breast which is great since I wasn't looking forward to putting it in the crotch area.

Will post an update later on today. This board has been a blessing!
