Well here we go again...my H is going in next week to do a drug test for the company he is working for, hes been here a year and they changed their policy and now will require him to take a 10 panel drug test...we assume its a urine test...he hasnt used in almost a month but we wont take the chance so he will sub which has not been a problem before...he has used mine and since i am not a user its been fine...the question is this is a 10 panel and not a 5 panel which it always has been before...should we be worried because i take meds (metformin/glucophage for mild diabetes which is under control) should we be concerned that on this extened test it might come up positive?

Why doesn't he just take a home test with his own urine to see if he will pass it? I don't know his history but he may be able to pass on his own.

He should be fine, the marijuana metabolites even if they are in his system will most likely be too low to even register as positive.

Like 29 said, try a home test!

thanks for your replies...the test is next week so we have some time to make plans...

we got home tests...he is going to do one tonight and we will work from there...he had used daily for about a week at the holidays..had not had any for two weeks before that and was daily for a while before that...so its pretty iffy...since we did a home hair test a while back that was negative and two days later he was positive on the official one im a bit worried..

Home hair tests can be pretty inaccurate, home urine tests however are a good representation. Have him take the test with his 1st void of the morning as that is generally the "dirtiest." If he passes that with a good line, he should have no problems with the 'real' test.

Really, I don't agree. The only home hair test I've seen is from Psychemedic and it is pretty much like the employment hair testing they offer and sadly they crush people's hopes and dreams all the time with the employment testing. The few posts here about those people who have used the home kit usually pass it then go on to pass the ones given by their employers.

Jerry G, you went to a collection site didn't you and not home kits?

Oh, almost forgot, glucophage isn't control and not abused so it isn't ever tested for in a drug panel.

Pookie, if you use your favorite internet search engine you can probably find a reputable third party vendor of Quick Fix that does bend the rules and will probably ship to you despite the ban. They call it a novelty item or prank or for religious purposes or ......well you get the idea.

If it is a urine test you can also try going with Quick Fix synthetic urine.

He should use it with his first morning's urine as that's when it's most concentrated.

Edit: Hair tests and urine are totally different as hair is harder to beat.
