| Are companies required to inform you if they perform random drug testing? In explanation...Is the company required by law to inform all employees that random testing is part of their policy? I haven't seen any paperwork yet that states my new company does random's. Also...is it more common for manufacturing jobs to include random testing than desk jobs? |

| No. If your company states somewhere in their company policy that they are a drug free workplace and you have signed the handbook acknowledging that you have read and agreed to follow this policy, you have been put on notice that you MAY be subject to random, post-accident, pre-employment, reasonable cause/suspicion, etc... types of testing. |
