First off I must start by saying Great site. A lot of useful information on here that "hopefully" helped me with the problem at hand. Heres the quick rundown. I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs. I run almost everyday but not a gym guy. I was a regular, almost daily smoker for roughly the last 5 years of college. I cut back a lot in the past few months, but at least several bowls a week give or take. I was offered a position at a very reputable company which completely caught me off guard. (I didnt think I had the qualifications for the position offered). Anyway, I had been clean for a week when offered the position, when I was called and offered the position, I was told it was contingent on a background check and drug screen. The background check is no prob, but knew I needed more time for the screen. Without hesitation, I told the HR lady I would gladly accept, but I was leaving for vacation the next day but would be happy to complete the screen upon my return. Well it worked without any red flags going up. Once I "returned" from my vacation I had about 3 weeks of not smoking at all. I proceeded to follow N2's dilution method, I wish i had a few more days to load up on Creatine, but I did what I could. So, I followed the diluton method the day of the test, which was Wed, 3 weeks of not smoking, and for the hell of it, I drank a Strip NC (I know they are a waste, but the $50 wasnt a huge deal to me). I was able to snag several of the THC stick tests from a friend who is a probation officer and passed two of them that day before I took the actual test, which I took around 5:30 p.m. The test was a Quest Diagnostics screen, I cant remember the acutal test code but something like 5-50/ W-NIT (something along those lines)(no mention of CG/MS any)where not a government job. The test went smooth, unobserved, I didn't flush, and the color and temp were both fine. It was split into two vials and sent off. This was Wed evening. I called the company on thursday to let them know I was "back" and had completed the screen. It is now Sat and I am pulling my hair out wondering the outcome. What do you all think, I value your opinions after reading a ton of posts on this site (Sec your input would be greatly appreciated). Im so scared of getting a call from the MRO.

Also, for the 3 clean weeks, I spent them drinking a lot of fluids, taking a little niacin every now and then (I know its a waste like the detox drink), and my normal daily vitamin intake and tested myself every couple of days, I lucked out by having and endless supply of the stick tests from the friend, and even passed a few with super clear urine 4 and 5 days before my actual scheduled test.

I know worrying wont help anything, but being fresh out of school and having an opportunity like this fade away would be one hell of a waste. Again any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I expect to hear something early next week.

If you did N2's dilution AND you drank the detox drink, you may have taken too much fluid and risk a diluted result. However, you said your urine was a good color (probably tho, due to the vitamins). Other than a diluted result, you should be ok. Your employer may accept a dilute negative as a negative test result, they may request a re-test, they might reject you based on a dilute result.

Then again, you might have received a negative result. I really doubt that with two at home tests showing negative, that you would have tested positive for the employer.

I greatly appreciate the input, I was worried about a diluted result after I drank the drink, but as far as that goes, the directions said "this is a urine test so drink plenty of water" I guess I could plead ignorance saying I just followed the directions. You are correct, the color was strictly from the vitamin B complex, but as you said, both of the home stick tests, (which I will never rely on) showed a very clear negative result (2 pink lines very dark). So I will be on edge until I hear from them. I would expect to within the early part of the upcoming week. I have still been staying away from the "green monster" so if I need to take another test I will have more time on my side. Again thanks for the input, and any other from any other members is greatly welcomed. Ill make sure to post results, again kudos for a great and very informational site!!

Well it's Monday afternoon, eastern time (took the test about 5:30 p.m. the previous Wed) and no word as of yet. I have heard that if everything goes well, you may never hear from them and just recieve the start date from the company, or within a few days of taking the test you get that dreaded call from the MRO. Just looking for input from members who can let me know how long it took for them to hear anything about their results. I've heard a lot of "about a week" from friends at home. Any info is helpful. Call the company and ask some bogus question regarding benefits, start date, who should you report to on the first day, etc...

If you don't hear from an MRO today at the latest, you probably never will hear from an MRO.

Again (Sec) and everyone else's input is always valued. It will be a week tomorrow that I had given my sample, keeping my fingers crossed I dont get a call from the MRO and I'll be sure to post results and hopefully a huge thanks to N2, Sec, and everyone else on this site.

Well today is Wed, a week from when I took my test. I took Sec's advice and called one of the HR ladys today and asked about a start date, etc. She was very nice and said that they had sent me a letter yesterday asking me to take the test again. My best guess is it came back as diluted. I will most likely get the letter tomorrow, and therefore schedule the test for the upcoming Monday afternoon. By monday it will have been 30 days since I have last smoked, do you all think I will need to dilute again, I plan on asking the probation officer friend if I can have a few more of the test sticks, hopefully by Monday I will be clean anyway, any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

lots of water.from the many many people I've
talked to this is the best way to get rid of THC. detox drinks only LOWER the THC count so it might not hurt to take this as well
