| Does anyone know what the cutoff levels are for the various different probation entity lab tests? I read somewhere that the mandatory cutoff is 50 n/l because anything under that amount can be subject to too much error but I've read on here amounts as low as 10 n/l. I ask because I passed 2 home tests- one at 10 p.m. the night before the test and another at 10 a.m with first void. I am still worried though. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer |

| Well, you have the reasoning for the cutoff levels incorrect, but the cutoff for most tests is 50 ng/mL. that IS correct. Most probation tests won't test at the "Lowest Detectable Level" because that is relatively expensive and there is not enough money in the budget for that kind of testing. Most likely, you will be subject to a dip style test with the standard cutoff level of 50 ng/mL. You should stop worrying. With two tests passed, using the first void of the day, you should do fine on your test. |
