I am now 42 days clean. I have just been offered a position. I need to take my test on Tuesday (March 11th.) I have called all the local pharamcies (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc.) and NOBODY carries home drug tests. The earliest I can have a test overnighted is by Tuesday, March 11th. So I can not perform a "at home test" in time. I really feel very uncomfortable using dilution or substition. With reading my above posts about my previous usage what is my percentage of passing this f**king test. I'm nervous, and can not even sleep at night. What's my chances of passing without "altering" the test, based on the years of posts on this site. Please, feedback. I'm dying here. Thanks to all those who offer some advice or support!

If I were you, Here is what I would do:

If your test is a urine test, at 1-1/2 hours prior to your test, start drinking a 20 ounce gatorade. Finish the gatorade with only 1/2 hour prior to test. In other words, take 1 hour to drink the gatorade. This way, you aren't too diluted, but I believe you will have enough fluid in your urine to make any quantity of THC that MIGHT still be in your system fall below the cutoff level.

Since you can't test yourself, this is the best you can do. Next time, you know to order the home test kits ahead of time. As a matter of fact, it doesn't hurt to go ahead and order them from the online vendor so you have some at home if the circumstances present where you need to test again.

Should I take 4 asprins, 4 vitamin b's and eat some "Tums" (rolaids make me throw up for some odd reason) WHILE drinking the Gatorade? I am running to the pharamcy today. Here's what's on the list:

1 Bottle of B vitamins
1 Bottle of asprin
1 Bottle of Tums (in replace of Rolaids, will Tums work the same?)
1 20 ounce of Gatorade.

Is my list complete, or do you think its not even worth the hassle since I'm not trying to dilute the urine sample?

Wow that sounds like you got several people on the phone who didn't know where to look or were too lazy to look. The only for sure is to test but the mild dilution method Sec posted should give you the added insurance if you weren't clean.

I think Sec sells at home test kits at her collection site so maybe if there is a collection site near you you could get an instant kit from them. Just don't go to the same one for the test! Probably can't do anything but I would be embarrassed!

At first when I started calling, I was thinking, "boy everybody in LA must be getting drug tested this week." Then after the 6th or 7th call I was wondeing if LA has a city ordinance that doesn't allow retailers to sell over the counter drug tests. LA sucks like that. I still don't know. You are right, they all just were lazy pharamacy techs.

I laughed like hell when I read about not going to the same drug test facility! That WOULD be extremely embarrassing!

The day of the test I am going to drink my normal 2 large coffees, an hour before the test at 9am.

I checked out all these goverment and medical sponsored web sites to read up on the half life of THC. A couple of them had great case studies of up to 250 people at a time and posted the test results for various time frames, useages, body weight etc... I estimated myself at 800ng/ml of THC metobolites in my urine. This seemed to be "mean" THC metobolites for the casual smokers ( 5 joints a week for 3 months.) I feel comfortable with that number because for the last 90 days before "obstaining" I only smoked 3.5 grams in the last 42 of those 90 days. Which is not even close to how much the "test subjects" did.Then I took the above "mean" half life of 9 days. Which is also very high (half life can be between 2 days to 13 days, the "mean" being 6-8 days.) So with all those numbers I came up with 67ng/ml at day 40. By day 42 I MIGHT be at 56ng/ml. Which I feel very comfortable about, because I used such high numbers for myself. With a very mild dilution I MIGHT be below the cut off of 50ng/ml on test day.

I know everybody is completely different, but I tried to use the "exceptions" to base my levels/half life on. So hopefully my calculations work. I still must "bite the bullet," and hope that I pass this stupid test.

I hate being a "pest!" So, I'm extremely sorry about another post.

Okay, so I just got back from a 4 hour drive to pick up a "First Check" home testing kit. My test is tomorrow morning at 9am. As they say "curiosity kills the cat" so I was wondering if i should take the test later on this evening with having normal liquid intakes. Or should I just wait till first thing in the morning and just use my first void. They only had one kit left so, I couldn't buy 2 and then I would've performed 2 tests.
