.. i was the last into the classroom and saw my director of my program waiting in the hallway.. i should have known something was up but i paid it no mind. She walks into the class closes the door and says "youre all getting a drug test today, if you leave the classroom before you submit your sample you're automatically dropped" ... now, im not too worried but the test is going to Quest Diagnostics.. I havent smoked in about 60 days and i dont plan on smoking anymore ever since i passed that one test after smoking heavily for 2 days. I'm pretty sure the one i passed was only a glorified home kit.. but since this one is being sent to the lab i'm kinda sketched on what kinda values they look for and what kinda values i may have in my system as far as metabolites are concerned. I believe it was the standard test where they scree for the 5 major drugs. The only reason why i'm worried is that it was my FIRST void of the day and my urine was very dark. about me: 5'8, 145lbs, very lazy the past 2 months, and was a very heavy smoker (4 blunts a day).. thoughts?

You may pass and you may not.

Asking us after the fact will not help you.

One of four things happens.

1) You passed the test.
2) You failed the test.
A) We tell you you passed.
B) We tell you you failed.

1a) All is great.
1b) You're pissed at us, because we told you that you would pass and you failed.
2a) You're moderately unhappy with us for telling you that you failed, but all is well, because you passed anyway.
2b) You failed, we told you that you would fail, you're unhappy with us, you're unhappy with yourself, you're just generally unhappy.


Your best bed is not to worry about it, since there's nothing you can do about it. You should relax, and hope for the best.

I think you passed, no guarantees obviously, but 60 days clean is generally enough even for the heaviest of smokers to piss clean. Dont sweat it.

I'm pretty sure 60 days totally clean is enough for a heavy smoker to pass. No worries man. If you fail then I would deem that incredibly unlucky.

I agree with Steakii and funky skunky that I think you should have passed. The best thing you can do now, right now, is go out and purchase a home test. Take it tomorrow morning. Don't drink fluids from now until after you test yourself. IF you pass, you should be ok, if you don't pass the home test tomorrow morning, then you probably have something to be concerned about.

So.... today i had to get retested at the school along with 5 other people because our tests came back positive or they came back "abnormal". From what i've ready abnormal can mean a UTI (urinary tract infection), but i definitely dont have any burning sensations.. Im trying to remember when i ate the muffin covered with poppy seeds but im having a hard time.. would that trigger a positive result? Anyway.. i wasntreally stressing the test, but unlike the first time where i gave them my first void of the day and it was dark in color.. this one was the 2nd void and was just plain yellow. SEC, what triggers an "abnormal" test result? I mean , im assuming that has to be it considering its been well over 60 days and im only 5'8 150lbs.. no fat on me really whatso ever.. :-\ im pretty damn skinny hahha.

Poppy seeds don't cause test results to come back positive for Drugs. I've read (multiple places and multiple times) that they don't.
