| Ok so I am a regular smoker (one blunt a day pretty much every night for the last 5 months). I recently started at a new job, and took the UA friday morning using the dilution method. I drank a 32oz Gatorade and 32oz of Ready clean, about 4 hours before the test. Was voiding diluted by this point. I hadn't smoked for about 12 days before the test, and i passed 2 out of 3 home tests using dilution. I have since started at the job (the test was friday morning and i started monday). If I had failed do you think they would have let me know by now, even a dilute result? I can't stand going into work everyday just waiting for them to pull me aside. Labcorp said the turnaround time was 24 hours, but I'm not sure how much i really believe that considering the MRO listed on the form was in the midwest and i'm on the east coast. Any input would be appreciated. |

| Negative turn-around time is approximately 24 hours (the next afternoon) no matter where the lab or the MRO is located. They overnight the specimen to the lab, the paperwork is transmitted to the MRO electronically. Positive drug tests take approximately 2-5 days longer, depending on which drug is being confirmed. From there, the MRO must contact the donor prior to reporting any result to the employer. You aren't clear yet, however; if you don't hear from an MRO by tomorrow, you can probably assume that all is ok. |
