Okay I used Quick Fix 4.0 (QF) this week. I had to as I am an everyday smoker and didn't have 30+ days to get clean. I think I am going to be fine as everyone here says that quick fix works for all tests. BTW, I took an ecup test which I understand is just a fancy electronic version of a normal 5 panel test with an adulteration test also.

My method was to use QF which I would place in an ace bandage wrapped around my leg/groin area (as close the groin as you can get). This way it would be hard to spot even if I had to give a monitored test (which thank god I didn’t).

My advice is make sure to secure the cap very tight before you leave, I almost had a tragedy today!

So I shake the QF bottle and removed the original cap, place in microwave for 10 seconds, put the cap back on and shake again (making sure the temp is in the 90-100 range). Okay now I put on the squirt cap, here was my mistake (which I don’t want any of you to have to repeat) I put the cap on casually tight (in other words not tight enough). I then put the bottle in my pants pocket and planned to place it in the ace bandage later when I was closer to the testing location.

About a quarter into the trip I reached for something in that very same pocket and felt some wetness. When I looked down I saw a big wet spot on my pants. I reached into my pocket and found that a small amount (about 10% of the bottle) of QF had leaked into my pocket. This was because I didn’t put the cap on tight enough, not through any fault of QF or its packaging.

I did my best to keep cool. Quickly I begin thinking of ideas. First I had to get rid of the obvious wet spot which would surly do me in at the testing facility. Luckily I had about an hour in the car left before I would get there. So I decided to take off my pants while driving and dry them with the car’s heating vents. I blasted those suckers and within 15 – 20 minutes my pants here bone dry!

Now my concern is, do I have enough QF left for the test!? So I get there and eventually the nurse calls me in. She asks me to empty my pockets which I do but she doesn’t check them. Then she hands me the cup and says “don’t go past this line here but go to at least to this line here.” I say okay and go in the drug testing bathroom they have set up across the hall.

I then empty the QF into the cup and I think I am just slightly below the amount she wanted. So I start thinking maybe I should top it off with some of my own. Well I try to really void urine and I cannot because I am so nervous. So finally I decide to just take it out to her and see what happens. To my surprise she didn’t question it at all (probably b/c I reached the temp sticker) and she took it and let me go on my way.

I was so lucky that more had not leaked out before I realized it was leaking. So much could have gone wrong, if I had any less there would have defiantly been a problem.

PLEASE ALL WHO USE QUICK FIX MAKE SURE YOUR CAP IS REALLY THIGHT!!!!!
