Happy Monday All - I am SOOOOOOOO glad that I found this forum. I am a life-long smoker, celebrated my 54th birthday in January. Though, I must admit that these days I'm using my favorite herb as much for medicinal purposes (arthritis and IBS) as enjoyment.

Recently I am finding myself faced with having to take urine tests, something I've managed to avoid all of my life. However, I am now seeking employement in a different field and almost everyone wants a piss sample. Since I've been smoking daily for over 30 years, I'm terrified at being tested.

I am VERY excited to learn about the synthetic urines (and everyone's success with them) and am seriously considering this method for passing. However, I have managed to stay clean for two days now (I'm sure you appreciate how difficult this is for me), and am also considering detoxing drinks etc.

But, I Just Can't Decide! I realize newbies ask the same questions over and over again. And I have been reading through a number of posts trying to learn as much as I can. However, if I may ask some of the more experienced members - which do you feel is the BEST way to go?

Sobriety/detox or Substitute?

Your drug testing question is better suited for the drug testing forum, not introductions. I haven't had to take a drug test in 8 years, so I don't really worry about it. My husband had to go get a drug test today because he was in an accident at his job, even though it was NOT his fault. It's company policy, regardless. He hasn't toked since last year, but was worried that my second hand smoke might cause him to test positive. I reassured him that he would be ok. I would re-post your drug test question in that forum to make sure you get an answer.

Hey! And welcome! To get more detailed and in depth answers about passing your test, post the questions you have in the testing forums. My only advice is to consider the stipulations of your test; like how closely you will be watched, the type of test being used and your willingness to forfeit your work opportunity to remain a smoker. Sounds like your best bet will be substitution, though I can certainly say I am not the most experienced poster on the forums. Like I said, to get more detailed and pointed responses, post in the testing forums. Good luck and welcome, once again! : )

As Vicki and Funky ( you cracked me up Funky, that happens to me all the time too ) pointed out, you'll probably get faster responses to your test questions in the Testing Forum. This is kind of off-topic for the Intro forum, I'll go ahead and move it there. You'll get more feedback, quicker is what I'm thinking. If you'ld like, go ahead and put up a dedicated Intro thread. Thank you for the kind welcomes Vicki, Funky and Pompo and my apologies for the faux paux on my very first post. Thanks for being so sweet about it.

Got the call today from one of the companies on my "top 5" list and my test is going to be this Wednesday. So, I stopped at my local shop and purchased Dr. Green's Agent X. I hope it is a reliable synthetic . . . I really liked that it is pre-mixed. I can be such a girl sometimes . . . I need this to be simple.
