I just wanted to post this thread for any people with similar concerns. I took *maybe* 10 hits from a glass pipe last night and haven't smoked for at least a year and a half. I have a drug test at the end of this month (April 30th) and thanks to the messages on these boards as well as further research online I'm fairly confident I'll come up clean. I plan on boosting my metabolism somewhat and possibly ordering a home test prior. I just wanted to offer this information as well as a follow-up whenever I hear back about the results (probably one to two weeks after testing) in hopes that someone with a similar concern may find it (after curious, anxious, or desperate searching). Thanks guys.

Dont worry about anything. 30 days clean from a one time use is more than enough time to pass unless you have a severe problem with metabolism, body fat, and exercise. Boost your metabolism and do home tests if it will make you feel more confident, but you will pass the test regardless. One time use generally is gone from the system in a week.

I wanted to make sure I answered this in case anyone with similar stats was searching and found this. I had been clean for over a year and a half and smoked *once* right after a monthly test (which left me a month to be clean for the next). It was awkward and irritating (I believe I'll be waiting until I don't need to answer for a drug test before smoking again, due to the ridiculous treatment of the program I'm in and consequences of being positive) and the high was incredibly pronounced compared to the amount I'd have to have smoked in my "heyday." That said, I passed the test. I didn't really do anything to alter my metabolism although that is typically advised, and there was a period of 30 days between use and testing. If this can assuage anyone else's worries then that's the only reason I posted it, so good. If anyone of similar circumstances finds this and *hasn't* smoked yet, I'd advise you to wait until after all possible drug tests; worrying about the consequences occasionally throughout the month and after the testing wasn't worth the few hours of being high. I know that's lame, but seriously--the quicker you get past the drug tests the sooner you can smoke worry-free. Oh, and thanks steakii for reassurance.
