Okay, hubby just found out he's going to a new jobsite (construction) and will be tested on his first day at the new job site...first thing in the morning too...7 a.m.
Good news is...this will be just the "instant" on-site type test. He refuses to use the substitution method though, so I'm coaching him on dilution.
A little background...
He's 34 years old, about 5'10 and about 190 pounds. I would say he has an average metabolism. Has developed a bit of a gut in recent years, but otherwise thin. He is a very active person in that his job alone requires lots of manual labor and lots of walking...and he's also very active with our kids and their sports teams...but other than that he does not "excersise" on a regular basis.
So, he has exactly 7 days to get clean. The test will be next Monday 4/28. We smoked together last night (before he found out about the new jobsite) and we had about 2-3 bowls together. We have been smoking 2-4 bowls (on average) every night for several years now...with only an occasional night off. It's usually low to mid-grade stuff. Never the KB or anything really good.
Okay, so today, I told him to start eating light for the next few days, and to get as much excercise in as possible in the next few days. I've also told him to sit in the steamy bathroom when he gets done running (that's the excercise he will be doing over the next few days). I've also started giving him 4 cranberry pills, and a multivitimin. On thursday or friday maybe I will make him stop excercising and start eating a lot of fatting stuff and lots of red meat. Do I have this right so far? lol

Then, on Monday, very very early, we will start the dilution method.

My questions are this:

The aspirin you are speaking of...is it the 325 mg regular strength? I don't want to OD him on aspirin lol.

I have a product here I got as a free trial called power tea. It's a pill...dietary supplement (green tea complex) that is supposed to support weight loss, support healthy metabolism, fight free radicals (whatever the hell that means lol) Maintain Healthy Cholestorol Levels, Promote healthy blood sugar levels, and support healthy immune system function. The ingredients are: Vitimin b-12 200% daily value, Chromium Picolinate 100%, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Green Tea Extract, Green Tea Leaf Powder, Guarana extract, Citrus Aurantium Extract, Super Greens Blend. Will this help at all if I have him start taking it for the full seven days up until the test....or worse yet, would it HINDER the results at all?

I also have a product called Colon Detox. And my question is the same...would it hurt or hinder...or possibly Help to have him take this as, well? The ingredients in this one are Psyllium Husk, Senna Leaf, Ginger Root, Fennel Seed, Green Tea leaf, Rhubarb root.

Also, being that it's just an instant, on site test...how important are the creatine levels, ph, and color? Do I even need to worry about those things so much being that it's not a "lab test"? I don't have any creatine on hand at the moment, but like I said, I will have him start eating some red meat in the days before hand. I don't have any B vitimins on hand either, but will the multi-vitimin be enough? Perhaps that combined with the B-12 that's in the Power Tea mentioned above, as well? That would give him 300% daily value of B-12.

Will a red-bull before the test help with color or with anything else? Or will it hurt matters?

Should we try something like the pectin or a carbo drink/detox drink or something before the test just an added security measure or could it actually hurt things?

Oh, and can someone direct me to S2's dilution method? I've seen it mentioned, but can't find it anywhere...I'm curious about the tums/rolaids, salt and gatorade which aren't really mentioned in N2's sticky.

Finally, what do you think his chances of passing after only 7 days clean are? We're really nervous about this...although I do feel a bit better after reading on here.

He has successfully passed a saliva test after only 4 days clean...but I know that those only detect very recent use so I don't think that's a good indication of anything.

Sorry for the long post, but I've been reading and reading on here for several days now and these are the questions I've accumulated in my mind...lol.

How about if I narrow it down to a few questions which are really important to me right now?
And yes, I've tried doing searches for these things but 9 times out of 10 I get some sort of error message and pull up nothing at all.

How many mg's of aspirin is referred to in the dilution tutorial? I don't want to OD my husband on aspirin? I have the 325 mg regular strength.

How important is the is the ph, specific gravity, and color and stuff when it's just an on-site instant test? Will they even be testing for that stuff?

What is the most reliable type of home test to buy? He will be taking a "cup" test but not the kind with the dipstick...the kind that has the lines or whatever right on the cup. Does aspirin have a chance of working for this type of test?
