I just took my DOT drug test and physical and want to share with everyone the procedure because when I was looking on here for the step by step procedure I couldnt find it and nobody seemed to know. The first thing they did was take me in a room and tell me that they will need two samples. I didnt have to put on a gown. I had to empty my pockets on the table and wash my hands. She told me she needed at least 45ml for the first sample. I went into the bathroom by MYSELF, filled the cup to exactly 45ml ( i was afraid i didnt have enough, I had exactly 3oz) with agent x. I came out of the bathroom gave her the sample, she read the temp and marked that it was between 90-100, then she split it into two different samples and sent me back into the bathroom with another cup and said she needed 30ml for the second sample. I filled it again with exactly 30ml which was all I had left. She then had me initial the samples and that was the end of the urine test. I Then had to do a hearing test, an eye test, and blood pressure...thats it...I hope this helps the people that are in the same boat I was.
