I know it is supposedly illegal to pat you down during a pre-employment urine test.

But What if they do, and What if they feel the QF4.0 and say remove it from your person.

What actions can I take right there at the facility?

This place of employment said they test right in the building medical office.

It gives me reason too ask myself WHY dont they send us to Quest or an outside facility.
And the answer I heard is to be expected to be patted down.

Looking for advice on this matter.

This is for pre-employment, not a city agency or gov agency.

they can't stop you from leaving that's for sure. Don't admit to a thing.

A pat-down is not part of any protocol, anywhere, for urine collection. You can report anyone who insists on this to DATIA, SAPAA, The Dept of Labor in your state, file a complaint with the local PD for assault, there are many options for you.

The reason they use their own facility personell is that they are saving money. If you have qualified people doing the collections for you, why pay an outside firm to do that same task? This isn't unusual for a company to use it's own medical team or even the HR or safety department for drug testing.

Some of on site tests are observed. They wont pat you down, but they might look to see the stream coming from you. You might want to keep a dilute as a backup just in case.
