Hi, I'm going to take my urine test in an hour or so. It's with quest diagnostics and is listed as:

21587N SAP 9-20 w/OPI+MEP

from what I have found, it looks like they're measuring at the 20ng threshhold. my personal smoking history is, i've been entirely clean for 60 days. before that, i probably smoked a 1/4 oz. over the preceding month, perhaps.

I'm pounding water now. I don't THINK I have much to worry about, but what do you guys think? If it were the 50ng test, I'd feel much more reassured, but the 20ng level has me worried.

this kind of info would help people around here who might be wondering what their test is. a lot of people assume a 50ng c/o.

were you well hydrated before your test?

The twenty number is for another drug, not THC. It is a NINE panel test. There are eight other substances being tested for.

it's a position in the health care industry in a large Western state. yes, i was well hydrated when i went in... had taken a couple of multivitamins before, as well.

Sec, i respect your knowledge around here, for sure, so please don't take this the wrong way, but how can you be sure the test is NOT testing for the 20ng threshhold for THC?

You can't be sure, and I can do nothing but tell you. There are other test codes from Quest with 300 as a number in the test panel description. Now for sure, 300 is not the cutoff for THC. It is, however the cutoff for another drug. I am at home and don't have a test panel cutoff (instant test package insert) with me. Also, I am on dial-up internet connection which is too slow to effectively do a search through the website for the exact meaning of this code.

You sill just have to trust me.

You are in much more danger of coming up with a diluted result because you said...

just an hour prior to taking your test. IF the employer really did have a 20 ng/mL cutoff for THC, then any diluted result would probably mena a re-test or disqualification from eligibility for the position. That is what I would expect from an employer who was that strict with the test threshholds.

Frankly, I think you have worried yourself into a frenzy for nothing. You would have passed anyway.

The HR woman said it was "with flying colors" but who knows if she really has the exact results in there. This is my fourth pass and is actually the safest situation I've been in. Other passes:

- 30 HOURS clean. Used GHF Fast Flush and lots of water.

- ~20 days clean. Used GHF Fast Flush and lots of water.

- ~40 days clean. Drank tons of water and took multivitamins.

I've never taken any creatine, extra salt, etc. Never had a "diluted" result or anything. YMMV.

the GHF Fast Flush at 20 days did not "detox", just diluted. same thing is likely for the 30 hours prior to the test.

congrats. the 60 days of abstention was the key.

I agree, anxious, I think you're right. Didn't mean to be making an endorsement or claiming that the flush drink works, just stating the facts of what my clean time was and what my methods were.
