I have been reading N2's dilution tips thread and I think that is my best option. I havent smoked for 24 days and will be in the low 30's at test time. I heard that this is basically an EMIT test and that it does not go thru GC/MS unless it comes back positive. Is this true? If not, will diluting (using N2's method) pass the GC/MS? I have done research on the Quest website, and they state this:

" Lemonade, soft drinks, sports drinks and water: Donors sometimes attempt to substitute these products for their urine sample or may drink large quantities of these fluids in an attempt to dilute their urine. By measuring and reporting creatinine and specific gravity, you or your medical review officer will have additional information to assess the validity of the urine specimen."

N2 covers the creatine part well, but what about specific gravity? Which fluids work best for specific gravity? Final question (sorry bout all the ?), but I have been seeing a lot of talk about rolaids and tums....when should these be taken and how many? Thanks alot for any advice to come....

people use rolaids or tums (non sodium free) in hopes it raises the sodium level and keeps the SG up. i answered this question in another thread.

gc/ms has a lower c/o - probably a 15 ng if the IA is 50 ng.

because home tests at 15 ng are nonexistent for the most part, the only way to know if you'll be negative at 15 ng is to pay for a private gc/ms test (which usually runs about $65)

a negative at 15n/g after only 24 days is probably unlikely, but if a test is negative at 50 n/g, there should not be a gc/ms

if they use 20ng/ml on the IA they usually use 10 ng/ml on the GC/MS
