Hey all,

I was offered a wonderful job but need to take a physical. Because of paperwork, I know that I will receive a drug screen, but there is no particular paperwork stating what kind. However, there is one page that is a consent form for blood collection. I am taking it at a medical clinic, but I am unsure of whether they are going to to just screen my blood, or if they want a urine sample.

My question is: If there is no paperwork indicating any type of test except for blood, is it usual to just fill out that paperwork at the clinic and spring the test on me?

In addition, i bought QF 4.0 to sub with but am unsure if they will do a hernia check. Do they normally do these at physicals? Again the paperwork only indicates standard checkups (hearing vision, wt. etc.)

They may ask for urine and blood. As for blood, it normally stays in your system up to 3-5 days; depending how hard of a user you are. It depends on what type of job you are applying for. In some cases, (usually for military or higher up working for state and/or government), you'll have to be completely naked and they will do a full physical. But other then that, they may just do the standard (hearing, eye sight, reflects, you medical backround, etc.).

How long do you have until you have to take your physical & drug test? Why do you try delutting your urine?

I was clean for 3 weeks, smoked on 4/20-4/27 and will be clean for another 14 days as my test is on Monday (5/12)

5'7'' 170 lbs. One bowl a day generally for the previous 2 years. It is for a chemist position at a research corporation.

Take a home test tomorrow morning. Then at least you will know.

I would also purchase some QF (just in case.) If you decide to use QF, just make sure you keep it in your undies, and make sure you practice, practice, and practice!!!

Just an update:

After reading Sec's info, I purchased 3 home tests with a 50ng/mL cutoff. After taking the first one when i got home, urine was still noticeably yellow and was not diluted in any way. I passed this (to my surprise).

This morning, the first of the morning urine with no dilution, also tested negative. I think I may do a light dilution cycle just in case.

Be very careful when doing a "light dilution". People tend to get paranoid and overdo the fluid intake when they are that nervous. DO NOT drink MORE THAN 20 ounces over the 1-1/2 hours prior to giving your specimen.

You should be just fine.
