The effect of liquids

I have a drug test coming up in about two weeks. I'm planning on going crazy with water/cranberry/gatorade in the next two weeks, except for the day before, because I don't want to piss pure water and have to re-take it. Do liquids help to flush out the old THC, or merely mask it for a test?

Basically, what I'm asking is will drinking all those fluids now do anything? Or is it only affective to binge on liquids the day of?

Just to give some background on my case also, I've been smoking about once a day for the past 5 months. I haven't smoked since May 7, and I can decide when my test is...I just don't want to wait too long to start working. I was going to wait until memorial day to smoke, but it comes early this year at the 23rd, so I might wait until the 29th or 30th to take the test.

THC is fat soliable. No amount of fluids will empty your body of THC, only lessen the concentration of it in your urine.

I didn't mean to make a re-post thread, but EVERYONE says drink lots of water as long as you can before your drug test. But if I'm understanding you guys correctly, since it doesn't clean out the THC, it doesn't matter how much water you drink except for the day of?
