For a little background on myself, I'm 6'4 240 lbs. I used to be a big athlete but once I transferred to a top university, I literally became a couch potato and gained 40 or so pounds. I've been a HEAVY smoker for the past two years, easily surpassing the 3 times per day level. I was a major pothead, ripping my bong all day with my buds just living the college life. I secured a very lucrative internship that basically dictates the rest of my career/life. I was told about 2 months ago that there would be a drug test.

I stopped immediately when I heard that and thought that 2 months would be an adequate amount of time for it to get out of my system. But, like a complete idiot, I totally didn't take the exercise is the only way to get rid of the thc to heart, and continued to be a couch potato without the weed. Last thursday, I took one of those first check home tests and failed miserably after about 55 days. There wasn't even the faintest line next to the "thc" and now I'm completely bugging out. Granted, when I took the test I took it later in the afternoon and I hadn't drank a lot of water that day at all. My void was very yellow, but still I'm very very worried.

I would greatly appreciate some advice as to how I should proceed. I have a window in which I can take the test up until the 24th of this month which is a little less that 2 weeks away. I'm going to take another home test on thursday to see what the deal is, but assuming I fail what should I do?? I've been reading this forum to no avail and now thanks to all of you guys I'm quite versed in the substitution and dilution methods. Do you think that because it will be 2 months since I've smoked, that qcarbo or strip nc that the guys at GNC said would definitely work, would make me pass the test? It seems to me that most of the people that say they've failed using that were those that stopped less than a week before the test. For me it would be 2 months.

I'm also very reluctant to use the substitution method. My buddy is totally on board to pee for me, but I'm scared shitless that I wont be able to pull it off. Also, I've heard from friends when they took their tests that it was very observed except for actually watching your dick. One kid even told me they made him put on a hospital type gown before he took it. On a side note, I literally have a huge problem with public urination. Theres been something wrong with me for years and its a big problem. For instance if I go into a public bathroom and theres people in there, I have an extremely hard time peeing. Its horrendous and I've had it since I was a little kid. This test will be at LABCORP.

Please please please, what course of action should I take? Should I buy a urinator and do it that way since I'm freaked out about temperature, or should I dilute/use qcarbo and hope for the best? What should I do in the next week and a half to aid in this process? I've been drinking 100% cranberry juice (which is beyond disgusting) and drinking a lot of water. If theres anything I can do or any advice you awesome people can give to me, I'd be extremely thankful.

Sorry for the long post, but I'm so scared and freaked out that my great career can be ruined because of my favorite pastime. Thank you all incredibly much in advance.

LabCorp doesn't observe tests unless it is specifically requested for some reason.
Usually the only observed tests are for legal reasons or a re-test due to a dilute or suspicious sample. (Sec - Can you confirm this? I don't want to give the guy false info.)

You may be able to dilute, as well.

Read the stickies about both substitution and dilution. If you have some time before you need to test, you may be able to dilute enough to pass.

thanks man. i assume i can make an appointment at labcorp for whatever time i want before the 24th so having time to dilute beforehand wouldn't be too much of a problem. i'm just freaked out that dilution wont work for me because of my weight and slow metabolism. i don't want to regret not subbing, although i'm hesitant to do that as well but will basically do anything at this point in order to pass.

any other advice/imput/suggestions. MUCH APPRECIATED

My advice, after reading almost every post in this forum, is to just SUB. i was in almost exactly your same situation, and i just was not confident enough that my urine was going to come up clean, so i went the substitution route and i am very pleased with it. it really is fail-safe AS LONG as you have it within the right temperature range, which really isn't too difficult. Plus, you can go to your test stoned, which is always a plus!

As an update, I took another home test today on my first void of the day. The test came up with an extremely faint red line that was barely there, but there was definitely a line. I called up the first check headquarters and they said that if you can see any line at all, no matter how faint it is, its negative.

Do you guys think I'll be alright with the dilution method? I find it really hard to believe that a very faint line is the same as a dark line. Why do people get darker or fainter lines on these tests? Does it have to do with how close you are to the threshold? MY friend told me that his brother passed a home test and failed the real test which makes me really freaked out about this.

Assuming I practice dilution and pass another home test with a darker line, should I take that to the bank and go for this method? I'm pretty hesitant about subbing, but I have a clean donor lined up and will do it if necessary.

I need to take my test on friday, so any advice on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated. I will absolutely be posting my experience and results once I get them to maybe help another dude thats as scared as I am right now.

On the day of your test just use the dillution method and make sure you jerk off. I read all your posts. Youll be fine.

Bad advice. Dilute up to and on the day of the test to have the best chances of passing.

Dilution is a method that needs to be done over a few days for the best effects. You're trying to dilute your urine to the point where THC levels are below the threshold for a positive result. Diluting only on the day of the test will be helpful, but nowhere near as beneficial as diluting a few days prior to testing.

And masturbation does nothing other than get your rocks off.

help me out here- how does dilution, several days prior to your test, help with the dilution on the day of the test? you'll piss away your dilution efforts in about 3 hours of starting them.

using creatine days prior is beneficial, but i'm not sure how diluting for several days before your test has any effect on the results that day. i thought it was the 3-4 hours before the test that is the most important.

I was concerned with subbing myself, but honestly there is nothing to it. All you have to do is get used to having something other than your junk in your pants for a bit. As long as the test isn't observed (which pre emp tests very rarely are) your set. I just did it yesterday and it was nerve racking right up until I went into the stall and poured the clean urine in the specimen cup. Then I urinated into the toilet for effect and walked out. Before I left my house I brought some water to right below boiling and dipped my bottles into it to warm them a bit and then "crotched" it as advised to in N2's thread about subbing. The temp came out to 98 degrees. I will know about the results by the end of the week (though I'm not concerned anymore). Take a little time and practice, I didn't have but about 30 min to practice as I waited until the last minute.
