I'm a regular smoker usually every day but I heard poppy seeds will test positive for a false positive. can i tell my po i jwas just eating a bunch of muffins with poppy seeds??? will he buy it?

I'm new to probation and stuff so I don't know.

Being on proabation and smoking is dumb and i can say that cause i am a smoker and i am on probation...HOWEVER..

I munipilate alot of factors, which makes things a lil easier for me...and besides that learning lessons the hard way this is my 2nd time around on probation...enough b/s

Ur d.t. i would suggest that u try to dilute but NEVER TELL OR GIVE THEM INFORMATION..and they are not dumb poppy seeds very unlikely with thesholds to show postive unless u live in poppy seeds factory and eat, breate, sleep, and shit, poppy seeds....lol j/k

All in all try ur best to dilute and DENY DENY DENY...and plan a prepare for this....USUALLY (dont quote me) u know when u will be tested so u should have time to prepare(absistance, dilution....CANCEL APPT.)

i wasnt sure, cause i heard my buddies say false positives if you eats poppy seeds, but they were saying for hydroc and pills and another buddie says no it's for herb, so I wanst sure at this point.

Well i dont know when ur test is BUT...if u got time then use the dilution sticky...

If u dont have time then try to stall ur po and home test urself until U are comfortable.
Never let them know ur a pothead...once they do its all down hill.....BEST ADVICE...DENY DENY...

besides we wouldnt have a testimony w/o a TEST (no pun intended). grin and bare it like me. find YOUR OWN ways to get around the system (trust me there are lil ways) and its only TEMP.

Poppy seeds have produced a false positive on tests for opiates. The test for cannabinoids (marijuana) is completely separate and unaffected.

If you continue to smoke on a daily basis and are subject to random testing, you will get caught unless you use substitution for the tests. If the tests are closely observed, you can't use substitution. Your best bet is to give up using illicit drugs until you're off probation. It's not that hard and beats the hell out of spending time behind bars with Bubba, the amateur proctologist.

Taht's kool. It might be tough for a while, but i can proly do it for six months. I'll be all itchy while my buddies are smoking herb and laughin. Oh well I'll be 18 when i'm done then i'm done. I got this far w/o getting busted...sweeeeeeeeettt!

If you are under 18, take advantage of it and just dont use. Drop your friends for a while, or try to hang out when they are not smoking.
If u are strong enough to be around them while they are getting high, you may just get a contact buzz, but the overall levels are going to still go down.
Just do what you can to get by, and don’t screw up. you are getting to age where it stops being a juvi offense and becomes permanent on your record, you don’t want to have to put down any info like that on a job app, it is embarrassing and then you have to do some explaining. Good luck...

I am glad that Redrum got the message. It is always better to leave your criminal record in the juvinal records and not let it follow you into adulthood.

Just to clarify;

Poppy seeds can cause a positive for opium. (not a false positive). You need to eat a large amount of them, but it will show on both the instant and a lab test. The level of opium would be consistent with injestion rather than illegal drug use tho.

Buzzby is absolutely correct that opium and marijuana are two separate tests. using the poppy seed excuse won't do anything to get you off the hook for a positive marijuana drug test result.

I was stupid enough to think that I could get away with a little smoke while on probation boy was I wrong. DON'T DO IT!!
That being said its not hard I sat with friends they understood and didn't bother to offer me any. now I'm free to do as i please
