Default Vaporstar & VaporGenie...

I'm going to purchase both.
Specific to each one, which site do you recommend to purchase from and which setup do you recommend most?
For example.
The Vaporstar seems to come with a choice of different glass. Is one superior or just a matter of use or individual preference?

The VaporGenie now has the "Exotic". The original is shorter and looks a bit sturdier. The Exotic perhaps a bit more elegant. In this particular case I want it for outdoor use; hiking etc. Does it matter?

I know SuperTorch and 5Drive have talked a lot about both of these but now I'm down to brass tacks...

Hmmm, I don't know much about portable vaporizers. I don't toke a lot away from the house, and when I do, I just smoke. I guess if you are away a lot, you would need something portable. I just didn't understand why you needed so many vaporizers.

I have the standard genie. I had the same concern as you with the sturdiness of the exotic version, which looked like a lot of plastic to me. For 50 dollars I wanted to get the one that would last longer.

Sterbo all I can add is that if you order your genie from vapedaddy.com, you can expect long shipping times. I wouldnt recommend buying from them as its already been 3 weeks and Ive yet to receive anything.

I also chose the original design as it looked less prone to breaking when pocketed.

For portable use get the Micro Pipe for the Vaporstar. It comes with a belt pouch and is absolutely the best choice for your requirements. Unless you live across the pond there are few options for places to buy. I'd go with the vape maker's site- vaporstar.co.uk/index.html. Dave is a good guy and he'll get it to you quick. Any questions just shoot him an email at dave @ vaporstar.co.uk. He responds promptly.

For the Genie, if you're in a hurry, get it straight from vaporgenie.com. You'll save $5 from vapedaddy.com, but the guy has no inventory and it will take up to a month to get it. I don't like the mismatched woods on the exotic, but I think the longer length might make it a little easier to properly apply a flame. A torch, which I'd highly recommend, probably eliminates most of the advantage. The drawback to the longer length, if you put it in your pocket, is that it's easier to break the mouthpiece. It breaks off right at the end of the vape, leaving the stem inside the vape. It can be hard to remove. The mouthpiece isn't necessay though. It just adds some length.

Well as far as the VaporStar I like the original bubble pipe that he has on his website. All that I have bought from him had a flared mouth piece which I really like, but the one on his site now shows it with a basic lip so I don't know what you'd get. But I will find it interesting to hear your thoughts on these esp the VaporStar as to what you feel it offers after owning the beloved Volcano all though since it has bags the portability of the VaporStar may not be as evident. I also look forard to the comparisions vs the Vaporgennie as its usually these two that make the cut for well price portable lighter based units. For outdoor use though it should really really shine and thats what I want to hear from your use. Deep woods hiking which I haven't done should be phenomenal performance I think I'm going to make it a point do me some - Man vs.Wild while enjoying my Vaporstar. I don't like the looks of the Micropipe but looking at it tells me it's probably a stellar performer. Can't wait to hear your experiences with what you decide.
