When you guys blow up the Volcano balloon, do you let the bag fall to the side and blow up on its own, or do you hold it up straight? (I always hold it up straight cause I think it makes the bag last longer)

Also, does anybody know if leaving it on for hours at a time damages it in some way? Sometimes my friends and I just leave it going for hours so its always ready to go

I hold it up because I use pretty large bags and otherwise it will knock the easy valve off. I haven't encountered any problems leaving it on for hours.

Sometimes I hold the filling chamber while it fills, sometimes I don't. It works fine either way (for me).
It's predicated on how well I assembled the bag. When I'm on a roll that baby stands straight up without any forethought. Still, the end result is always a blast

I've left mine on for days at a time w/o any problem. Usually I turn it off when I'm not using it, but for no reason in particular...

i have a V Tower (without the fan).. a question along the same lines... my tower has a timer on it so i usually have it set for an hour or hour and a half and it shuts down automatically (nice option!!). But is it ok to leave it turned on with the bowl of herb sitting in it for hours on end? will the vapour slowly find its way out of the whip tube? does that shorten the life of the herbs (just letting it sit there at the 195*C)?

Absolutely.
Unless you're using ganja for whole house aromatherapy I'd remove it when not in direct use ...

Yeah stoner, you'll vape away your herb letting the bowl stay in place like that. It just takes longer.

That's true for other bag vapes as well. Seems like most of the bags I make for my herbalAire end up cockeyed.

thanks for the responses.... ok so then is it ok to keep reheating the same bowl... like i take a few hits (within say 10 min after letting it warm up for about 10 min) and then remove the bowl... hour later put the bowl back (warm up for 5-10min) do a few hits, and remove... continue throughout the day.... or do i just have to sit down and vape away until the bowl is spent? (like i'd get a lot of work done!!!! )

It sometimes becomes something of a mission, so on the rare occasion that puppy stands straight and true like the bow of an old ship I just sit back and smile like a kid...

Certainly. As long as you're getting vapor there's still uncooked herb there. The only drawback to hitting a full bowl over and over to get it all vaped is that your taste suffers because you're hitting herb that's already cooked, along with the unvaped portion. Loading a smaller quantity lets you vape the entire contents more quickly and you're not repeatedly hitting herb that's already drained of its THC. Your choice though.

When it's not straight I just want to redo it until it stands up like it's supposed to, but the damn bags are too pricey to trash just to get the right 'look'.
