Alright, I just made this account to ask for help here.

I bought a VP600 from a guy for a hundred bucks. Things wrong with it are a broken mouthpiece which doesn't matter and the temp knob, which does. The temp knob doesn't work for shit. I turn the vape on and it get to its highest temp which is 298 celcius, and then slowly counts down. I don't know what to do, and can't find a number for the company at all. He didn't tell me about the knob. I called him and he just said to put the herb in when it reaches 180 celsius and just use it that it'll stay at that same temp. I haven't used it yet.

Sorry you're having problems. This is a cheap 'made in China' box with no warranty (unless one is provided by the dealer) and yes, no way to contact the manufacturer. If you have no way to set a temp you're out of luck. IMO these Chinese boxes have questionable construction as far as reliability and safety, and aren't worth the money. Considering what this one sells for new, I'd say the guy that sold it to you made a great deal.

I just used it today. He sure took advantage of the fact I know nothing about vapes.

Anyways, I used it at around 260 celsius. The temp knob breaks but you still know what temp it is. I think I burned my stuff.

Waaaayyy to hot if that was truly the temp in the bowl. I'm surprised it didn't combust. A true vaping temp (and you have no way of knowing with this cheap unit), at the bowl, should be around 190 C. Play around with the temp and find the vapor range-where you first start to get vapor, and where it turns your herb black. You'll want to be somewhere in the middle of that range. Just use the number on display as a reference point.
