Apply the correct temperature and you get vapor. It's as simple as that. Even a homemade lightbulb vape can be as efficient as the most expensive vape.

What could be easier than flipping a switch and letting a machine produce your vapor and put it in a bag?

Welcome kellic

I currently have a Volcano classic, and for the many times I'm outdoors, a VaporGenie.
The Volcano I've had for a couple of years and I absolutely love it, can't praise it enough.
The VG I've had a few weeks and it's awesome for those times I need absolute portability. It's homely as hell but I'll take function over form, in this case, any day.

That said, take some time and make good use of the search feature to check out our vaporizer forum in what are arguably the most comprehensive and unbiased reviews/discussions on the 'net' to date.

While there are many here to thank for their in depth and considered posts regarding the many units available, I would pay particular attention to those posts by 5Drive, Vicki and SuperTorch.

Read up and ask away. We are a friendly and dedicated group...

IMO, the Volcano is the Rolls Royce of vaporizers.*

*keep in mind that my opinion is heavily biased and basically worthless because I have only used a volcano. But from what I've read before purchasing the volcano, it is highly preferred, along with others such as the Silver Surfer Vape.

I wouldnt want a volcano because bags are not my thing. I prefer the direct draw vapes, the manual transmission verses a volcano that is like an automatic vehicle.

Direct draw vapes are only going to be efficient in part based on how well the design of the vape is and how experienced and skilled you are with the vape. Compared to when I first started, I am quite a bit better at it and outside of maybe vaping with someone who much more experience than me, which is likely quite a bit of people, I do not believe I can get more efficient without some tricks or something that veteran vapers may know or learned.

Volcano has the highest efficiency rating believe and I have not heard of any customer support issues or anything like that. If your into just bags and what the best efficiency the Volcano has my vote but to me its not the same as direct draw vape. With a direct draw the method of use was changed but the basic operation has not. Instead of bong or bowl, its more hooka style with the wand.

Happy vaping and im sure if you are able to afford anything out their and you truly research what vape best suits your needs and wants, you will be happy.

I've heard the Volcano described as the Cadillac of vapes, the Lexus of vapes, and now the Rolls Royce of vapes... so I guess the question is, what exactly is the Volcano of cars?

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. Lightbulb vapes are neither efficient or effective. It certainly doesn't help answer his question (which I figured you'd be right on 5drive, our resident vapor guru, c'mon now!)

The Volcano is often considered the 'king-pin' of the Vaporizer world, but it really lies in personal preference... For it's price, I wouldn't consider it the 'best in the market', they are way too pricey and for that price you can get a comparable product...

I have a VaporWarez 3G, like many other members here, and I find it to be the best on the market (although that may be a biased statement). I don't prefer bags, I like having a glass whip and adjustable temperature.

Ah I totally just realized a good point the beezlb pointed out.

If you want something portable/convenient/social, then bag vapes are a good option (like the volcano or herbal air).

If you want something smaller that produces a thicker vapor, more truly simulates smoking, and isn't as dorky as bags, then direct-draw vapes are for you (like the Da Buddah or Silver Surfer Vape).
