Exclamation A Vaporizer for College [help!]

So I'm going to college in a month or so and I've decided to solve the problem of smoking in my room (I have a single) by getting a vaporizer. Now the problem is picking one out that suits my needs. Portable would be nice, but I dont want to get a shitty cheap vaporizer. I also don't want to spend more than $200. So I was thinking...

Vapir mini Oxygen - Very portable, not sure how much I would use that. Seems like a decent unit and a pretty good price. But why go portable if I don't have to? Is this one going to preform well?

Vapir One V.5 - This is kind of portable but the big selling point is that it blows up bags. But is it true you have to hold the vaporizer and the bag upright to inflate the bags? I hear its kind of a P.O.S and that it doesnt work that well. I'm hesitant but the price is pretty good.

Something else? - Maybe a box vaporizer? I just want one thats going to be high quality, reliable, easy to use, and low maintenance. Any suggestions?

I would greatly appreciate it, I'm kind of new to vaporizing.

Well I would get a vaporwarez box styles. very small box, very cheap, and is very portable. About 70% or more people wouldn't even know what the hell it is.

The Oxygen Mini is the only Vapir product I'd recommend. If you aren't interested in a portable I'd forget about Vapir. Not a reliable brand and the fan on the model One is noisy.

A good bet for a dorm room would be the Vapolution. It's 12v, and has no hot parts exposed so it's easy to keep ready to go in a drawer or on a shelf. If you get the All-in-Wonder glass bowl you don't have to deal with tubing either. The best deals are on ebay. A couple of different sellers (vapemart and gotvape) include an AIW bowl and free shipping for $150. Warranty is 90 days. Repair costs are very reasonable, but there is no lifetime warranty as far as I'm concerned.

"The Vapolution Vaporizer is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Manufacturing defects will be repaired free of charge for the first 90 days. After 90 days, any repair is $25USD except for the glass heater. The glass heater is covered by our $50USD replacement program. Please contact Vapolution if your vaporizer ever needs repair or replacement."

"Limited" is the operative word here. They never say they will fix anything for free. Just that they will repair the unit for life. They shouldn't even use the word "lifetime" because it's deceiving, and people misunderstand.

Limited most always refers to the cause of the problem, as in 'limited to manufacturer's defects', and glass is almost never covered unless it's cracked or broken before they ship it, and that's often hard to prove. Warranty, to most people, means 'no charge for the repair', and since their 'no charge' period is only 90 days, then that's the warranty length as far as I'm concerned. I hate to see this company mislead people like this, since otherwise I know it's a good company with a good product.

"warranty-a written guarantee given to the purchaser of a new appliance, automobile, or other item by the manufacturer or dealer, usually specifying that the manufacturer will make any repairs or replace defective parts free of charge for a stated period of time. "
warranty - Definitions from Dictionary.com

That's exactly it, and why so many people get confused. They really should change it, but they probably don't want to because it gives them more business.

The Da Buddha would be a consideration, it is not a box vape but it is in the box vape category and operates the same. Warez 3g would be a good consideration too for a box vape.

Going for something cheaper isn't necessarily a bad deal. I have the vaporgenie and I'm a huge fan... the vaporstar is a similar concept that's gotten high marks, but it looks like a bong which has a certain appeal.

Besides the already mentioned Oxygen Mini and Vapolution, the Supreme Vaporizer is a portable unit that is well regarded on the top end of your price range.

You can't buy a Supreme. Not online anyway. The guy isn't responding to email either.

Well what I want to know is weather or not the box vaporizer is going to be higher quality than the Vapir Oxygen. High quality being better more efficent hits and stuff like that, low matiance, easy to use. If the Vapir is going to be able to do the same things as the box, quality wise, I'll ge the vapir. But I'm just not sure.
