Default does vaping keep you up at night?

I have noticed that after I got my vaporizer it gives me boosts of energy and make me want to work out. I have noticed every night that I vape right before I go to sleep, I would lay in bed and would not stop thinking of shit. It has happened for about 4 nights now. I don't know if it is just me or if anyone else has this happen.

I don't know about "boosts of energy". There are no stimulants in cannabis that affect the body. The difference you're experiencing is the lack of sleep inducing toxins you get with smoke. Everyone is different though, and isn't always affected the same way by the same chemicals.

Stimulating the brain is a different story though. Vaping just before bedtime tends to make me stay up longer, but I don't usually have a problem going to sleep if I'm tired. Anytime you can't relax your mind and stop the thinking, worrying process you're going to have a problem getting to sleep. The best thing to do is stop vaping at least a half hour before you want to go to sleep. An hour may be better, depending on the amount and the strain you're using.

I experience the same "energy boost" described by the OP. I attribute it to heightened mood and relaxation. At the end of a busy day, when I'm feeling fatigued, vaping some Sativa makes me want to get up and dance or take the dog for a walk.

I usually vape an hour before I plan to be asleep. That way I can enjoy the high and go to sleep as it begins to taper off into sleepiness.

I hear ya.
It's always affected me that way, from the very first time I smoked.
Doesn't matter if I smoke or vape, and while sativas kick out the stops for overdrive, I still get more wired than not from most indicas.
But hey, as one of my good buds pointed out, that's only me,
a "freak of nature"...

Yes when I vaped for my first time, the first thought that came to mind was to lift some weights. I have not worked out in about 3 years but I have done alot of landscape and tilework that time. But point is that I decided to see how much I can lift and I could bench 195 no problem, and thats been my goal 3 years ago. If I keep vaping I can finally get back in shape because I really enjoy lifting while vaped.

At night when I try to go to sleep I would talk to myself and somewhat reflect on myself. And I have heard that it is good for your mind to reflect on yourself and think of the next day. When you do that you some how wake up the next day ready and awake. But the way I see it is there is always positives of vaping instead of smoking. I have not smoked in 4 days now and I am caughing all the shit up, but I feel alot better.
