| Quit Smoking, Stop Smoking Or The New - Aeros Smokeless Cigarettes Anyone used these things? Apparently they are little cigarette type tubes that produce tobacco vapor without heat. How? Well, that's a "trade secret", apparently. And it gets stranger: The tobacco "regenerates" itself so it can release new vapor... so the cigarettes last much longer than a conventional cigarette. You can only get these things online, straight from the manufacturer. And there seems to be very little third party information on them, at least online. I don't got enough of background in chemistry to offer up an educated theory on how these things work. It seems to me the tobacco must have been altered or converted into another form in order for it to release vapor simply through the act of pulling air through the tube. I also can't guess if they same alteration or conversion could be applied to other herbs... Could a "smokeless joint" be in the future? |

| It's a nicotine delivery system. It's like a patch except it simulates smoking. It's not the only one available and it's been discussed here recently. There's no tobacco, so you can't sub cannabis and vape. http://www.marijuana.com/vaporizers/101819-njoy.html

| Sorry, I searched for "aeros" and it turned up nothing... I'd gotten the impression it did have tobacco based on a couple of blurbs: PR: Aeros Smokeless Cigarette Offered at aerosinfo.com Quote:
Aeros Smokeless Cigarettes - Is This The Long Awaited Safe Cigarette? Still, that's all ultimately coming from the manufacturer so it could be their spin. It does make more sense if it's really just a hyped up "patch". Last edited by Vronin : 07-05-2008 at 06:07 PM. | |

| Since the device vaporizes a tobacco extract instead of the leaf itself, I doubt you'd be able to sub mj in its place. While the patch is normally used to quit smoking-weaning you off the nicotine, this smokeless cigarette seems to be aimed more at people who want to satisfy their nicotine habit more safely. |
