Default A New Vape

You see, I'm usually a bong guy, but since my roommate for this year (mmm... college) has asthma I think i should start vaping to try not to cause any serious problems with him.
Sad thing is:
A.) I'm pretty cheap
B.) The only vaporizers ive ever used are ones I've made
C.) I'M VERY VERY CHEAP
So, if anyone has any ideas on what vaporizer I should get, I'm looking for something cheap and relatively portable, I'm sorta new to vaporizing, I've only used Shake and Vape style vaporizers and such (because I'm very cheap, but I don't want to get off on the wrong foot with my new roommate), any help would be very very nice.
Thanks in advance.
Note: Yes, the vaporizers i've made do work, i just made one out of a kikkoman soy sauce bottle about an hour ago and it works like a charm, sad thing is it takes about a minute to heat up (i heat it with a candle, to save butane) so I'd prefer to have something not made by a crazy backwoods stoner like myself

then i recommend that you save your crazy backwoods money for a bit longer until you can afford a proper vape rather than a cheapo that will just sortof float you until you end up paying for the better one anyways.

Under 250?

I know tokinGLX is going to recommend daBuddha and SSV Great product from what I hear. I'm not sure on the prices but I know the SSV is a little bit pricier than most vaporizers.

On the other hand there is also Vapor Warez's 3G Vapor Cannon, which I have. I own a hands free model (most vaporizers have the option of ground glass/hands free or 'regular' wands). It cost about 140 and I got it off an ebay vendor known as warehousegoodsonline.

I'm sure others will be able to give you a *ton* of information, there are lots of threads already in the Vaporizer form addressing the same question : what vaporizer to get?

Happy hunting!

I recommend the SSV, Da Buddha and the Warez 3g.

You could also get a lighter based vape, i think those around 60 dollar mark but not really sure.

i have the vapir mini o2 and it works good nuff for a portible hand unit. it cost 125 bux with the battery pack and 99 bux w/o the battery pack. it produces a dence vapor w/o the inner screen in it. i lost the screen along time ago. i bought the vapormatic a cupple weeks back and i have to say ne thing other than the vapir mini, sucks from vapir. this vapormatic constantly torches the weed on what ever fan setting and i usualy vpae in that thing at 165C because it flucuates so much itll go from 139c-204c trying to maintain the perfect temp, which it cant do.

the only problem with the vapir mini is that sucking outa this this is like sucking a tight rolled joint. and no the screen isnt dirty, its just that the only intake on the thing is 2 small holes at the bottem of the heating chamber.

Definetly the da Buddha is for you. The SSV is good too but you say you're cheap so go for the Buddha. Same components except it doesnt look as nice. I don't think the GG vs hand holding wand debate applies here since the result is the same and da buddha cost 60 to a 100$ less then the SSV.

Anyways , can't go wrong with either of them.

I don't own one, but at one time I was looking into the VaporGenie (google it), it's like a pipe but it has a ceramic insert to seperate the bud and flame. From what I can tell it seems to work well, plus it costs only 55-60 bucks depending one which model you get, and if you order from the website it's free shipping. But what do I know, I don't own one.
I feel like a living advertisement (shivers in disgust).

i looked at daBuddha and SSV, very nice products but your suggestion of the Vapor Cannon is probably what I'm going to go with, I found the warehousegoodsonline ebay shop and maybe I'll order one soon.
Thanks for your help!
