Looks like a cool little unit. I'd like to try one but for $250 I'll wait til it's on the market for a while and has some reviews before I buy one.

A portable vaporizer would be nice, but I don't know how much I would use it "on the go". And if you bought it, it only really makes sense to use it as such.

Plus, if it's made to be compact and portable its probably sacrificing something else in the process. I'd rather just get a nice box vaporizer or maybe an investment in a volcano before I considered this. But hell, if you want to take it places then it's the way to go. It could be an amazing unit, we'll have to see.

A Vaporstore employee said they've used a prototype and like it better than the VM3, which runs $450. I ordered one yesterday on presale for $189. Ship date is supposed to be the 18th. I expect it to give decent performance. It does have a 2 yr. warranty. If I don't like it I expect I can recoup most of my money on resale.

I'd also like to hear about this vaporizer once someone gets it. A lot of 'buzz' going on about it. TBH, I hate how it looks but with vaporizers you sometimes have to sacrifice form for function.

I just read the description on GotVape and it sounds like some good stuff for sure. I generally don't trust VAPIR products, they tend to leak and have problems, but it's definitely a company with some design talent and they know what people really like. Their products really look futuristic and if only they performed like they did they'd be on top.

So I know how much they want to match quality with how their products look, and maybe this has a chance. Perhaps they've learned from their mistakes. This whole butane thing is pretty good, no battery to charge and quite a bit more life. Plus you can buy butane at most gas stations... so no worries there. It's such an odd looking device that who knows, maybe you could pass it by a cop - maybe, maybe not, but until such things go mainstream there's always that hope.

I'm really looking forward to hearing how this goes. A simple unit like this, with a straw, has the potential to not only be hooked up via tube to bong or hookah, allowing for water cooling, and is really easy to pass around in the inevitable ganj circle. That's something I always liked about a piece vs. a vaporizer.

I've always hoped that what we're in right now was the "dark age" of vaporizers, because they're still just so expensive and so unwieldy compared to pieces these days. While people have been smoking things for millennia, vaporizing is just really within the last decade and I'm sure one day we'll look back at our HerbalAires and Volcanos and maybe even SSVs and wonder how we dealt with that shit.

If we're lucky, eh?
