the plastic taste for the vapir? yeah, it's pretty noticeable at first. after a few hits though, you wont notice it once you heat it up to 400F, you can take continual hits, one right after the other for about 6-7 hits. i couldnt do that with the inhale. maybe i was using it wrong? (which is why i came here to see how to use it optimally, like i did for the vapir) one thing i noticed is to NOT pull it fast. you gotta take slow, controlled pulls. but still i couldnt pull one right after the other like with the vapir. i had to wait until it stopped heating up every 30 or so seconds... i usually plug the top with my finger so nothing comes out and wait til it cycles through twice (light turns on and off twice) before i took a hit.

ive read people saying the same thing with the iinhale but i didnt notice it when i was using it. and you wont notice youre getting high when you use the inhale. because i was like "wtf i dont think im smoking it right" but i just kept on vaping and eventually it kicked it but it wasnt a "damn, im blazed" high. it was a "let's chill and watch the game" type of high. tried it with different bud, same result.

For me I can’t see the point in buying something like the crapir, something that emits plastic fumes totally defines the point of vaporizing and anybody who would buy that over the i-inhale is beyond me!
Money is inconsequential to your health!!!

It definitely rips better than the Mini. Perhaps the moisture condenser/screen wasn't taken out.

I won't notice I'm getting high when I use my Inhale/iolite? That's funny, since I do notice and I've been using one since the first units were shipped out last fall. And since this vape has quite a large bowl for such a small unit, I've also gotten a lot of those "damn, im blazed" kind of highs that you say I'm not supposed to get.

You know, it just may be that your perceptions and opinions on the effects of this vape may not apply to everyone. What do you think?

I don't know what it is but I think mine is heating better now, it hits pretty good. And sure does work in the movie theaters!

I had never used a vaporizer before. I would usually use a pipe. I was interested for two reasons

1. I'm an Athlete and wanted to avoid the smoke
2. I'm a closet smoker and didn't want to smell like pot + I wanted to be able to smoke in my house or hotel rooms when I travel.

Being a closet smoker meant I couldn't get something big like most Vaporizers. I went to my local pipe shop and had a look. Every single one was huge. I was about to say forget it and go back to the pipe until the shop owner showed me the iolite.

It was small and looked like a cell phone. $250 seemed spendy but after reading some reviews I decided to go for it.

I am so happy with my purchase!

First off it runs off butane so you don't need to plug it in. But the best part about it is how easily it is for me to conceal. For me, the biggest burden when it comes to getting high is finding a safe secluded spot. If I there is anyone around at all I feel completely paranoid and this just ruins the experience for me. With the Iolite I can literally smoke anywhere and feel safe.

Here's why. The Iolite is small enough to fit in a small starbucks coffee cup. I load it up, turn it on, and put a lid on it with the mouthpiece of the Iolite sticking out of the drink whole. It looks like i'm just sipping on a drink through a straw but I'm totally getting stoned.

As far as vaping, I'm sold! I will never go back to smoking a pipe again.

The Iolite was a great investment. It works perfectly. In some ways it seems just too good to be true.
