| Typically people do not do everything to the utmost efficient but to their style and to an effect they enjoy and that is the popular opinion that most people explain in the postings from which I have seen. You are over reaching by being overly technical because in the end the technical is nothing but a reference point to be used by the judgment of the user of vaporizer. We all know everything is not consistent in the real world and add in the variable of that each of individual likes different things and a realistic operation is not going to be exactly precise but a ball park process of vaping in relation to what is most efficient. Some people like to a vape bowl so it draws harder but not as many, some people like many small draws and many people like mix. To find that out one has simply to start on the lowest end and work their way to the highest or vice versa or however one does it to find out what they like. There is no true correct answer for the best vaping temperature. You are essentially telling people that they are vaping wrong or giving out wrong information when that is not really true. You are simply overreaching from your point of view. Now I gotta get back to Da Buddha and happy vaping. Last edited by beezleb878 : 11-07-2008 at 10:23 PM. |

| True. I also posted my response after the OP left in a huff. Sometimes you post for the benefit of others looking for good info, rather than an OP that you know won't be back (or at least won't be responding).

| I'll have to disagree with your disagreance, Spiral. Vaporizing helps eliminate harmful chemicals and tars. When vaping past 200, you are introducing those chemicals. Which I think is the whole point of vaporizing- Not to get those chems. | |

| I vape at 356F or 180c. Again i feel it all depends on how dry your bud is, if cured and dried right lower temps...But if it's still moist then higher temps. If i go beyond 397f my disk in the vapormatic goes up in flames and fire shoots up the tub into the bag. With the worse smell to it. |

| Ditto, 356F./180C. to start(unless You really want the low range fine tuned 240F.Buzzlette), If the vapor-cloud isn't the correct texture, put it up to 366F./188C. I've gone up to 372F. but it burnt out the small load too fast. Experiment, to find the best for each batch, and, mark them to remember(if You don't You won't). There are different Cannibinals in different temperatures, so what ever You are after, is somewhere, if it's there at all!!! |

Wow that sounds scary! You might want to invest in a new vaporizer...wouldn't want you to burn your place down .Even if you never have the device at that high of temperature, I would consider getting something that doesn't have potential to burst into flames. | |

| I usually have my volcano set to 400f. If im vapeing a bud/kief mix then ill turn it down to about 370ish. I like the darker/heavier vape, but after reading the non argumentative posts, im thinking about turning the temp lower. |
