| Can everyone please share the model of digital vaporizer they have and the temperature they prefer for it. Please keep the answers short and only post the kind of vaporizer and the temperature you use it at. I am not looking to see what the best temperature is, I want to know how great the temperatures vary from model to model and user to user. I have a V-Tower Extreme which I just purchased in October, so I would think it is the most recent version. I like it best at 446*F/230*C. |

| At 230 you are just smoking the buds. I to have the most recent model of VTower Extreme, I bought it about half a month ago. I prefer to vaporize my marijuana at 190-195*C. Tars and Carcinogens start at around 200. Benzene will occur around then Cannabis will vaporize at 185. So thats your number right there. I just add the extra 5 just to make sure i am not below 185, as the gauge is at the top of the heater, not in your bowl. | |

If you are only vaporizing at 185*C then you throw alot of stuff away because THC vaporizes at a minimum of 200*C and it takes way more then that before it chemical structure breaks down. I don't know what you put in your stuff, but I would like to know where the Benzene comes from. Quote:
I love how everything has to turn into an arguement on these boards instead of just sharing some information. You can go ahead an argue this one out and for everyone else, don't bother to reply to the original question since it will just turn into another pointless argument and I won't be back to see your answers. | ||

Up In Smoke was simply trying to save your lungs and cash. My vape goes up to 375F also. Can you give links from where you get you information on vapourization? |

| I really dont associate myself with hostile, ill informed and most importantly ignorant people. However I can answer your question in hopes that I can diminish the ill informed part. The Vtower's ceramic element is within the unit, When you place the bowl over the element, there is about 2cm's worth of room from the top the element, to the bottom of your glass bowl. No matter what, the temperature shown on the display will not be consistent with the temperature inside the bowl- especially towards the top of the bowl. I set my temperature at 195 (which is MORE THAN sufficient to vaporize THC, as vapours start to appear at 140) This is so am certain the bowl itself, and all of its contents will in fact be at 185 degrees celsius). Benzene occurs from emissions such as tobacco/marijuana smoke, gas stations, the transfer of gasoline, exhaust from motor vehicles, and any industrial factories. Anything that has smoke, has benzene in it naturally. There are many carcinogens in marijuana smoke, benzene occurs at a lower vaporization point than others, which is roughly at 202 Degrees celsius. Benzene is very dangerous to ones health, as it has been linked to kidney, liver, brain and heart diseases, cancer as well. Vaporization of marijuana at its point of vaporization diminishes this threat, as it is below the vaporization point of benzene. There is no variation in proper temperatures for vaporizing THC in differing Vaporizer models. One Hundred and Eighty Five Degrees Celsius is the point of vaporization. Anything Less, you wont be getting all of the THC, Anything more, you are defeating the purpose of a Vaporizer. | |

![]() 185celcius is only 365farenheit, that is well within the 'vapor zone' and some would argue, at the low end of the spectrum.
