I own the PD and consider it a "must have" because of it's efficiency, beauty, and it kept me warm last night when my fingers were freezing.

That's why the 12V design allows you to run it 24/7, using no more power than two 4W night lights. Used with a timer, mine is always ready to go when I need it, even more convenient than the short wait for my SSV to heat up.

It's not the only vape that won't get hot enough for that herb. And the vast majority of herbs vaporize at 365 F or less, so it's far from a "weed only vape". But if you're shopping for a first vape and would like to vaporize at higher temps-up around the 400 degree level, this would not be the vape for you.

Thanks. I'd have to say I enjoy using my PD more than my VW. It's so effective. I use a fraction of even the smallest bowl in my VW and get 3-4 great, tasty hits.

Some pictures when the unit first arrived. The one of the unit really doesn't do the Tea-tree wood justice... I'll attempt some higher quality ones later I suppose.





And for the record, my stoner cat approves. When I leave it on my couch I often find her snuggling on or near it. It radiates a bit of warmth and works well as a hand-warmer on those cold nights.

Wow 5drive. Those are some pretty big vapor clouds, I must say.
I wouldnt expect so much out of such a tiny unit. Looks like a great deal though.

If it had to be one, yes, I would go with the Purple-Days over my VaporWarez. They are both equally enjoyable to use, but the PD is much more conservative and efficient in the long run.

As much as I love my Surfer and my new stealthy I-inhale, the PD is such an all around good performer that I'd have to go with it as my only vape as well. It just gives me a wider range of satisfaction than any other single vape.

Keep in mind comparing the ssv to the PD is like stick shift vehicle compared to an automatic.

I would prefer the ssv over its control but we are talking pure preference.
