How do you figure that? They're both direct draw and the user controls the airflow. A bag filler would be an automatic-set the temp, flip the switch and it drives itself. The SSV has temp control and can go hotter, but you don't normally change the temp during a hit.

PD you are constrained to a specific amount to put in a bowl.

Temperature control is important as you vape depending on the type of the draw taken. It not so much an issue with the pd as the draws are limited in number than what the ssv can do. A down side for me personally on the pd would be the size of the bowl but thats my preferance as I would be filling it quite a bit.

SSV you have to hold the wand to the heater where the pd this is a none issue

I will concede that the bag deliveries do match my analogy better so I will amend it and say its like power assist verses unassisted.

And the PD bowl is quite deceiving. I can fit a good amount in their.

The PD doesn't just levitate as you hit it. You still have to hold it while hitting it.

I took my PD over to a friends house last night and we were blowing big clouds all night. If I empty out my lungs I can take an entire bowl in one gigantic hit now. The 2nd hit might give me some vapor, but not much.

Well thats what im saying. I can pack a bowl that will take far more than a few draws to clear and blow clouds. What I had hoped to impart was that the bowl on the PD is smaller than the ssv and DB. That is all.

I have Da Buddha so its hands free and you can get the ssv hands free as well.

If the heat time was an eternity and if it could hold more I would say its one of the best vapes in its class for my liking.

It is good that we have such a variety of truly quality vapes that are not really priced to the sky.

The SSV has a bigger bowl and gives bigger hits. Nobody should compare the little PD bowl to a whip in that area. You don't criticize a sports car because it doesn't ride like a full size sedan. It's a different design. It doesn't compete with the SSV, it complements it.

Lurkerboy asked "So if you had to own a single vape, would it be a purple days?" Spiral and I both said yes. That's because we like it for reasons other than bowl and hit capacity. For me, the efficiency and portability would be important as a 'only vape'. OTOH if I could have two vapes, but only two, I might pick the SSV and the I-inhale. You'd have to put a gun to my head to make me give up any of the three though.

I take it that you mean if it didn't take the "eternity" of 30 minutes. Mine doesn't take 30 min. It's ready to go when I get home and shuts down after I go to bed. If it got hot in two minutes and had a full sized bowl it would be in a different class. Then you could compare it to other whip vapes. The class that it's in includes the Aromazap, Eterra, Inavap, Vapolution- small efficient bowls, 12V for portability. In this class it's the hands down winner IMO.

I had my SSV customized and ready to order but I wasn't sure if I could get the discount after ordering since no one answered the phone. In the meantime I was looking at reviews of it and other vaporizers and came to this. Peaked my interest ended seeing Spirals video and decided the PD fit my steez. Ordered it Friday so it didn't ship till Monday which means I'll get it Wednesday or Friday. I'll bless yall with my opinion when it arrives. Hopefully before Thank Turkey day.
