|  Well, I don't really use the silicone or the bowl setup Vrip offers anymore but I'll offer what I've collected and other users experience... Norcaljunkie, of FC, uses this setup;   Not sure if that will help. This is what stonemonkey55 experimented with for a while;   Thing about that setup is no silicone on the wand, reduces the mass, so you may have to operate at a slightly higher temperature. If your silicone is starting to get stiff, and tough, it's probably time to get some new stuff. Mine started to crack, and I eventually was just frustrated with the silicone so I opted to get a custom bowl made to get rid of the silicone all together. Let me know if this helps.
