So I just got my vapor genie today in the mail while my boys were with me and we tried it out with the "Herbal Smoke Sampler" I explaned to my friends that it takes a while to get the hang of but they just called it gay and said I was a dipshit for spending money on it they were very unimpressed with it to say the least. So my question is it better, am I doing something wrong or do I just need to try it with some grass

Try it with grass. Your friends are dumb.



1. Use a small flame and ever so lightly drag on the Genie, just enough to get the flame drooping into the hole.
2. Place the tip of your tongue on your palate while doing this, as this allows you to gauge the temperature with the botom of your tongue, rather than the back of your throat.
3. When you feel warm vapor trinkling through wait a second or so, then cut the flame and hit that pipe hard as if you're letting rip on a bong. Hold that vopor in.
4. Exhale big fluffy clouds of vapor.


I use a Bic, and just make it into a triangle while inhaling. Works every time. You'll get the hang of it than next time you can show your friends what's good.

It is a great vape for the price. It works perfectly, but like he said, you have to get the technique down.

I personally use a jet torch, and although it is kind of difficult to figure out, I like using it over normal bics now. I'm sure that bics work great too if you can get the technique down.

I like to practice on something not-weed, so herbs like damiana for example.

Sounds to me like your "boys" aren't gonna like any vape. They seem to have the attititude that anyone who likes vapor is some kind of pussy and can't handle smoke like a real man. OTOH they may just be unwilling to take the time to master the draw and 'flame time' you need to get good vapor hits from the Genie. Maybe for them it would take something like the Vriptech wand or Herborizer, which provide bong size hits with pretty much no learning curve.

I say enjoy your Genie. Just tell your friends they don't know what they're missing.
