| I'm not an electronics hardware guy, so I don't know if this is really possible, but I had an interesting idea. What if, instead of heating air and passing it through a charge of weed, we microwave the weed to the desired temperature and pass room air through it to pick up the vapor? Building a little microwave chamber around the vaporization chamber shouldn't be too complicated. Because of the small size of the chamber, it shouldn't use too much electricity. It could easily be cordless and rechargeable. It would automatically heat the whole charge evenly. Using infrared sensors, it could have incredibly precise temperature control by changing the microwave intensity or pulse duration. Usually, when I have a "brilliant" idea, I find that someone else has already had it and is selling the results. I can't find a microwave herbal vaporizer anywhere. Do any of you know how to build one?

| I doubt it would work microwaves are really inconsistant in the way they cook because they heat up the moisture (it would have to be some really sticky weed) and you would have to have a high voltage transformer, something I wouldn't try DIY and if you screw up you would be cooking yourself which is kinda cool except it burns alot. While it is possiable you would probably would be wasting your time and I doubt it would be rechargeable unless you have a Prius battery hooked up Read more: Microwave oven - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ; Dielectric heating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Mark |

| Interesting link here: HowStuffWorks "Introduction to How Microwave Cooking Works" Microwave create a motion of molecules with water, fats, and sugars. With so much agitation, this causes heat. So I doubt you could do that with herb .I don't even think a "dry" plant would even burn if you left the microwave on... But I could be wrong. |

| microwaves work by energizing water, not THC. Find a frequency that will excite THC molecules without destroying them, and then your gold. |
