| So just so everyone knows a little background of my vaping experience - I own a ton of vapes. I bought my first Volcano 4 years ago. I had purchased a Magic Flight about a month ago. I met the creater at Hempfest in Seattle. I just split it up between Pros and Cons. Cons: The battery life is horrible and I tried to use a normal AA battery and that wont work so your stuck with 5 minute batteries that take hours to charge. You still should not be heating copper and inhaling near it - titanium is the only metal completely safe to heat and inhale from. Taste and vapor quantity was very poor. Taste was more on the burnt popcorn flavor then as good as you can get herb in Florida lol. No vapor came out of the exhale. Does indeed burn your herb. The little I used turned black.. not vape brown. Pros: Just 1 Small and portable - that was it. Tough to give it a good review when the Vapor Genie is a much better budget portable vape decision. That thing works everytime. |

| I see where your coming from but for the price this still is not worth the money compared to a 50 buck Vapor Genie. As vapes gain in popularity so does small companies trying to make a few dollars on "their" bad excuse for a vaporizer... If you're a first time vaporizer user and got the Magic Flight as a "great portable discreet vaporizer" - you would never know the true meaning of being "vaped" as in getting 98% of the THC from your herb with no smoke. |

| You can get great quality vapor from this vape, and it is no better or worse than any name-brand vape out there. It all has to do with user technique. I can't begin to tell you how many reviews that I have read on the VaporGenie that has said the exact same things that you have said above about the vape made by MagicFlight. One other thing. You failed to mention which MagicFlight vape you have, the LaunchBox or the LaunchTube. Here is a 26 page review on nothing but the MagicFlight LaunchBox that has many positive reviews. Fuck Combustion - Vaporizer Forum / The Magic-Flight Box Review Not everyone is gonna like the LaunchBox, but then, not everyone likes ANY vape. |

| IMO the LB and VaporGenie are two very different portables. The LB has much more stealth. I can wrap my hand around it while hitting it so that a casual glance reveals no hardware at all. With the Genie you're obviously lighting some kind of pipe. Sure the Genie is cheaper and simpler, but the stealth quality just isn't there as it is with the LB. The other advantage to a portable like the LB or the iolite, vs. the Genie, is that you're not having to deal with by-products from a lighter. The Genie works better with a regular lighter, which produces soot through incomplete combustion. Flint dust is also something to avoid inhaling. A torch is ideal for a clean burn, but is harder to use and not recommended by the Genie maker. Every portable has some kind of compromise. The iolite hisses during the heating process, is expensive, and has a lot more to go wrong than the simpler LB and Genie. Each person has to consider the pluses and minuses and make the decision based on their priorities. |

| Ill toss in my 2 cents. I have a launch box and a friend of mine has a vapor genie. The vapor genie sucks big time. With the LB, I also went to wally world and bought a 15 minute charger that came with 2 extra AA batteries. So I have 4 batteries and can charge all of them in 15 minutes. Usually I do that once every 1-3 depending on usage ![]() I take this thing nearly anywhere and go take a hit within 10 seconds of pulling it out. Its super stealthy and fast. I also get very thick hits. All you have to do is load it up full and put a battery in and watch for vapor to start coming through the mouth tube. Then start hitting it like a joint while shaking it between some hits and going slow enough to let it heat up. Then after a couple lungfulls like that you open it and crumble the dried weed with your fingers. Now do it again and you will get even thicker hits. The thing is, even when you dont see much on exhale as long as you feel it in your lungs its ok... regardless I can get strong thick hits any time i want and it tastes like a bag from a volcano.

| I have the launch box - t-1000 just you comparing the "vapor" or lack thereof from the magic flight to a Volcano shows your inexperience with vaporizers in general. Do I want the taste of copper and wood or actual vapor from a table top vaporizer who whether anyone likes to admit is the Coke brand image to cola of vaporizers. |

I dont think you can remove that metal cover - you would have to buy more rechargeable batteries... Back to my increased costs on a not very good vaporizer. | |
