Ive been smoking weed about 38 years, with a few breaks here and there. Got my MMC a couple months ago and recently bought a vaporizer. It's fantastic, can't believe it took me so long. Maybe because the kids are grown and moved out, I can now use paraphernalia more openly. Actually it was during a trip to a pharm that I first learned of vaporizers.

After a couple weeks of vape I can't stand to smoke 'old school'. It's gross and tastes like dirt with chemicals.

I bought the "Vapor Prince" for $70. After getting to know it I think I've found the optimum temp and hit pace. I think mine is Celsius even though it says F. It burns best about 170 - <200 but it takes both me and my wife to keep at that temperature. It still starts to get kinda burnt and smokey so we quit when the taste gets unpleasant. (about 4 hits?)

Do you think it was miscalibrated or marked wrong? 170 - 210 F would be too cold from what I am reading everywhere on the web.

Are other vaporizers easier to maintain their constant temperature? What else would make a pricier vape worth the money? If that were the only benefit of spending more money I can continue to live with the VP.

I dont know how big the bowl is on yours, but if you only get 4 hits and then it turns 'smoky' you should try turning it down quite a bit. Maybe go to 150ish and see how that works for you.
