In my DBV, how should I vape my kief?

Whenever I do vape I usually have a thick mound.

Should I put it in between two different packs of bud? Like pack some bud down, put the kief on top of it, then pack more bud on top of it?

And what temp should I put it at? The same temp I use to vape my bud, or should I try to go a bit higher/lower?
