I have a Vapor Genie coming in the mail. Common wisdom holds that Zippos impart a rather unappetizing taste upon smokables because of the fuel (naphtha) that they use; however, in a vaporizer, the stuff isn't being directly heated; instead the heating element is heated by the flame and convection does the rest. Doesn't this mean that a Zippo won't alter the flavor at all? Does anybody have any anecdotal evidence to suggest that naphtha-fueled lighters do taste bad even on vapes?
