I looked through several pages on the forums and i could not find any questions like this one. I recently started looking to buy a vape. I have had a lot of experience with a vaperbros vape, but it was my friend's and he moved away. I have been looking online for a good vape, but I am kind of low on money right now so I was looking for something under $100. I was looking at some easy vapes on ebay, but i know the electronic ones tend to break rather quickly. should i get the easy vape or is there another vape that would better fit my needs?

For $100 you're not going to find a decent convection vape (unless you find one on ebay or something) and don't get only a half-decent one - you'll regret it sooner or later, I guarantee you. The easy vape just looks like a VaporBrothers knock off and doesn't have a solid name - there are more reputable options out there. Mind you, is the $100 limit just a short-term budgeting issue? Because, if you didn't already, you might like to know that vaping tends to be about twice as efficient herb-wise as smoking. So answer this: How long does it take you to smoke twice the cost of a particular vapourizer? Because that's about how long the unit will take to pay itself off if you buy it. Good solid home units start at around $150 (Da Buddha, Myrtlezap), so if you were to spend this kind of money you'll have paid for it in the time you would normally spend $300 on weed. Instead of all $300 going on herb, you spend half on herb and half on the vape. Vaporbrothers ($165) and Purple Days($180) are a couple of other quality options under $200. However, if you really don't want to spend that money at the moment, a lot of people love the Magic Flight Launch Box, which is a pocket conduction vapourizer. At the moment it only runs on rechargeable batteries, but they will have a mains power supply available within a month or so. Lots of people with pricey top-shelf home units also buy this one for portability and convenience. You could buy one of these, and save up for a home convection model with the money you save on weed. Check out the in-depth MFLB thread (and all the others too) over at Fuck Combustion. mod note: No direct links to other vape forums please. Last edited by 5drive : 10-29-2009 at 03:51 PM.

Wouldn't recommend the 100 or less category for vapes. They are almost all made in China, and have shitty warranties. I got my Da buddha for $143 on Vapeworld with a coupon code: 10-OFF-09 regularly $159 (package comes with a grinder and a Hemp Carry Bag. I repeat don't go sub $100, spend an extra $50 bucks and get something that will last.

I have to agree you get what you pay for. I held off from buying my first Vap for a couple extra months so I could afford a better one. I was going to buy a VP-100A but waited and bought a Vapolution Vap instead. My friends have similar "China" models, all of which get you from point A to point B, their biggest bitch is regulating the temp. My buddy has a Digital Revolution 1.0 and all he does is turn on the unit and leave it at 200 deg. It vaps decent at that setting but if you don't check and stir once and awhile it starts to taste like burning. Anyways, times are tough and for most of us, money is tight. If you have no other choice try VaporizerDealer.com and check out Budget Vaporizers on the left column, they all range from $45-$100 bucks.

| At least with the Easy Vape you get a model that on-line dealers sell with a 5 yr. warranty. Despite what an eBay seller may tell you, there is no factory warranty on a $60-70 Easy Vape. So you get a half way decent model that may hold up, but still no warranty. And digital on these cheap boxes is not accurate and is much more likely to fail vs. analog. If you can afford $100, I'd save another $50, buy something like the Da Buddha, and enjoy a quality unit with a 3 yr. warranty.
