I have hit many vaporizers, and while the volcano is good, it's not my favorite. I actually started vaping when some roomates of mine had a volcano. It was the only vaporizer I hit for 2 years. Finally, I got to try out a few more and bought a Silver Surfer. I like it way more than I ever did my friends Volcano, and in NO way does it compromise quality.

It's all personal preference. Obviously there are vapes of inferior quality, but there are many that are just as good. What the user likes is what matters.

The "best" vaporizer is the vaporizer that fits your needs and that is different for each person.

Determine what type of vaporizer your looking for and we can better assist you.

Saying the Volcano is the best vapourizer is not like saying Michael Jordan is (or was) the best basketball player. Rather, it's like saying that a Mack truck is the best vehicle. Sure, it may be for some, but as a blanket statement it's meaningless. And saying it's not necessarily the best vapourizer for two people 99% of the time is not the same as being a hater.

I spent a month or so a couple of years back getting high off a Volcano, so I know what they're like. I now own a Purple Days, which is a third of the cost, and I'd rather hit that than the Volcano. It hits thicker and fresher, and on a fraction of the weed.

Well ok, you can get thick hits off the Volcano, but you have to pack so much weed into the chamber that unless you plan to get a whole party stoned then you're going to have serious wastage. The Volcano is a great party vape, there's no denying that, but as the OP mentioned, they don't plan to be using their vape much for parties.

Hater of what? I don't hate anything or anyone. Hate is an emotion that only harms the hater. Nobody in this thread has said anything negative about the Volcano except that it's not the best vaporizer, since no vape meets that qualification anymore. As for me, my comment was that it was a great vaporizer.

Comparing an electronic device to an athlete doesn't make much sense. And Michael Jordan's a retired basketball player who's 45 years old. His days as the 'best basketball player' are in the past. Same goes for the Volcano as the best vape. Anyone who says you need to pay $500+ to get excellent performance and reliability in today's vape market needs to catch up and do some research.

The reason you say the Volcano isn't the best is because other vapes do different things better. I agree, but overall... the Volcano is the best Vaporizer money can buy. Next, best whip/wand is Silver Surfer(or da buddha same thing without bells and whistles), 3rd the Extreme, does both whip and fills up a balloon. The Zephyr is also really nice, it works real good with an Easy Valve Setup from the Volcano. Best Portable Vape by far is the iolite.

Volcano and DBV/SSV are completely different vaporizers and can't be compared.

End of story is the Volc isn't the best vape anymore. Just the most expensive one, which leads people to think it's the best.
