| i apologize for being repetitive, first off. 99% of the time the vaporizer will be used by 2 people. i am inclined towards volcano, but that's what i'm familiar with, so that's prob why. however, the cost scares me away a little-- i can't find one for under about $530. i have had no experience with a whip delivery. i have read the forum a lot, but i'm even more confused now, everyone seems to have their thing. i am not familiar with most of the brands, so i guess that's why i put more clout in what i've actually tried. i'm not sure which one would be better for us, type, etc. i do want something that can be set for an optimum temperature for its use. i would rather not spend $500 on one, but if it seems like it's the best way to go for our circumstance, i will. IS there a lot of difference between a $150 vaporizer and a $500? are you only paying for name, or is the reliability really that much better with a better known product? (ps-- is there some kind of handy little chart that compares some of your favourite brands somewhere??) |

| i've tried about 10 different vapes including a volcano and my favorite is the vrip vapor wand with thier water tool or it can be mated to a glass bong, you can get the whole set up for about 300 bucks.. the all glass vapor path imo will give you the best tasting vapors... VripTech Vaporizer |

| First, the Volcano is a great vaporizer, but you won't get better performance or better vapor for the extra money. With the herbalAire and Extreme selling for hundreds less and providing both bag and direct draw, compared to bag delivery only from the 'cano, it's hard to recommend it unless you've got $ to burn. A bag vape is easy to use, but a lot of vape users end up using mostly direct draw. You generally get more vapor per hit with whip/direct draw. You can go for a full size whip model (most whip units are in this category) like the 7th Floor vapes or Vapor Brothers if you prefer big vapor hits, or choose a model like the Purple-Days if you're more inclined to smaller hits and stretching your supply. Take a look at the big threads here on specific vapes. Those are generally the best buys and most popular models. Take a look at dealer sites like vaporstore, vapenow, gotvape, vapeworld. They're all solid, well respected dealers and they don't sell junk. Find the vapes they have in common and those will be the ones you'll want to look at first. Search for some of those on youtube and you'll find demos. Google vaporizer forums and you'll find some good ones to browse. You should be able to quickly and easily narrow your list. I'm sure you'll get some specific suggestions in this thread as well.

| While the post you just submitted seems you're more inclined to get something with a bag AND a whip attachment, let me just put in my .For $160 ($140 if you find an online coupon you can use. I'm sure if you ask around you can easily find one) you can get the Da Buddha vaporizer. This is the only vaporizer I've ever used, and the only vape I've ever bought, so I'm biased, but for $140 I definitely walked away happy. For the price it's one of the best vapes around. I've had it for a few months now and I haven't had a single problem with it. After a week I knew exactly what to do with it and how to use it at what settings. I can put .4 grams in it and get two people high, MAYBE even three. I could go on and on but honestly, if you're looking to spend as little money for the best vaporizer, Da Buddha is the way to go. It uses a whip, not a bag, but like I said, so worth the money.

| IMO: If money isn't an option, go with the Volcano. You will not be disappointed, by far the best. Otherwise I would shoot for the $300 range, Extreme, or Silver Surfer. ( preferably the Extreme because of the versatility). The Da Buddha Vape is great too at $160, but if you got the money and you are going spend $300, you may as well spend 500 and get the Cadilac of Vapes, you can probably get someone down to $500, just call them up instead of doing it over the internet. |

| IMO, the volcano is overpriced, and is not 'by far the best'. It's good at doing what it does, but it's just a bag vape, and so has limitations and drawbacks. It's lousy for solo use and small quantities, it's noisy (both vape and bag), and the flavour just isn't all there. And for what you pay for it, you could get a set of three respectable vapes - a solo home unit, a party vape for groups, and a portable. |

| Well obviously its not the best portable vaporizer because its not portable. Its not the best box style vaporizer because it fills up a balloon. But if you want the best VAPORIZER money can buy its the Volcano, uses highest quality parts, including the patented valve and balloon system, the patented pump which they make almost silent they way the enclose it in the shell, and a reputation that blows away EVERY other machine. Don't be a hater, thats like saying Michael Jordan isn't the best basketball player because other "quality" guys do 1 or 2 things better than him, but that doesn't mean they are a better basketball player. The Volcano is the Best Vaporizer, that's why it cost so much money. Blanket statement: Volcano Vaporizer is the best Vaporizer. Michael Jordan is the best basketball player. |
