Default vapobat

hi, i did a search for this and didnt find anything, so i hope im not repeating anything, but im wondering, i have a vapo bat, its the one thats like 2 small tubes and one tube slides up and down. and the way ive been doing it is putting the weed in drawing it back and holding the lighter up to the tip and inhalig, it pulls the flame down, it doesnt touch the weed, but it makes it smoke and will sometimes catch it into a cherry, so this is basicaly a complicated way of smoking it and not vaporizing at all, if i hold the lighter farther away i wont get anything, is this just a really ****ty vaporizor thats super ineficient and not worth the 20 bucks i paid or am i an idiot, i really hope im an idiot because if there was a way to work it it would be pretty sweet to have this really handy little vapo pipe sorta deal. way easier than any other vaporizor ive seen around. but maybe it just sucks, dont know.

Don't suck in the flame. Heat the glass. It will, in turn, heat the weed, hopefully vaporizing the cannabinoids without setting the plant material on fire.

I had a similar device and used it a few times to get what vaping was all about. Then I went out and bought a VaporBrothers unit. The former was like trying to shave with an axe. The latter is like a good electric razor.

Don't waste any more money on direct-heat vaporizers (vapobat, cheap vaporizer, BC vaporizer, etc.). Compared to the convection devices with which you draw heated air through the weed, the direct-heat ones are a joke.

My beef with those is they use up all your lighters. However, I had a homemade "bat" style vape that cost me exactly $0.00, and it was well worth the price.

If you're going to be vaping every time, though, I agree with Buzzby-- I hear those electric convection models are quite the luxury.
