There may be no yes/no answer, but there is a definite question:
Is it possible, through the proper heating techniques and by re-using and re-crushing the same pinch of weed with a vaporizer, to remove absolutely 100% of the available THC from the plant? Very unlikely. There is probably some very small amount tucked away inside it somewhere that would need combustion to "escape" into the air. Who knows why...
But in that case, then there would still be some THC left in the stuff, which would then be smoked. Sure it would be weak, but would it get you high is the question. OR, perhaps vaporization can, when done right, completely remove 100% of the available THC. In that case, smoking the residue truly IS pointless.

The prohibitionist argument against industrial hemp is that even if it has less than 0.5% THC it still has THC. I've smoked ditch weed that was so weak that, even though you'd get some effect, it wasn't worth the effort. Even if there is a tiny bit of THC left in the residue it would still not be worth smoking. I mean, if you vape because it's healthier then smoking the residue would negate any health advantages.

if u are gonna reuse vaped bud. the only way to smoke it is through a bowl or a joint. it wont work through the vape.

I was referring to reusing it in the vaporizer, again and again. I can't believe how a little bit lasts for 4-5 sessions, or more. The amount I'd use for a joint can get me high between 5-10 times. I kid you not.

I take my vapor poo and do a chemical extraction(ie.Iso,hexane,butane)and get sum pretty tasty stuff it just concentrates all the left over THC and is very potent.
