this is really pointless device, i tried it and the "vapor" if u can call it that was real harsh although i did get high. I personally think there are chemicals inside the lightbulb that ahem maybe water and salt can't remove. The whole stigma of smoking out of a lightbulb is pretty disgusting, this was meant for crackheads living on the street not stoners. Doing this just brings herb down to the level of hard drugs, when it is not that at all.

For air intake...I'm not sure if I mentioned how I did it. If you have a small drill bit...just drill a series of small holes in the cap AROUND the grommet that the tube runs through! It's kinda tricky, as there really isn't a lot of room once the grommet is in there. So I had to drill the holes at a slight angle...instead of going straight down, the holes leaned inwards some. Man, I just finihed getting all the **** out of one of those bigger rouder bulbs... I have a few questions though!
-If I drill those holes in the cap, wont the vapor escape? It suposeidly takes awhile for the vapor to build, so would it explode if I just layed it on a base over a candel,plugged the holes, and waited for it to get some nice smokey stuff?

-this may sound stupid... but is the straw supose to be horizontal or vertical?

I'm kinda puzzled by this!

no it wont escape unless you get to much smoke in there untill it has to go somewhere. it would explode if all of the hot air had no place to go but expand the lightbulb thus exploding it.

i am confused by youre question lol, but if you layed the buld on its side it should be vertical, in other words straight in but not touching the other side, check out some of the pictures posted on here.

yes as you keep sucking you see smoke entering the straw and into youre lungs.

i have to agree with you...i can see it now, posted on freevibe.com many crackheads are potheads because they use the same deivce, since potheads use a crack smokeing materials marijuana is a hard drug. and most of the useless 5hit that you hear already. althoough i have to agree that this method if safer. and why not make a vaporizor instead of buying one for 100$ (i dont know about yall but when i buy something i alwayse say to myself something like "i could buy an oz. for that")

Though the high might not be substantial by itself, this might show why a little resin smoked along with ganj can enhance the high. As soon as my plants finish I'll be able to find out if smoking catnip with ganj also provides any enhancing effects - but for now, good smoke reports and observations people!
