| I emailed vaporbros about getting more screens and this is what they had to say: Hi Adam, We do not recommend purchasing screens from a hardware store due to the fact that they can release toxins. We sell a 10 pk for $2.00. You can use a credit card if you are interested. VB Support, Kristen I don't think there is much difference between a SS 3/4inch screen from a hardware store and the same thing from their website. Is it actually true that they have special screens, or is it just some tactic to get me to buy from them (which I think it is). |

| They torch their screens to burn off any coatings and toxins. That's why they appear to be multicolored. If you take any 3/4" SS screen and burn it with a propane torch you'll get the same effect. I'm still using the screen that came with my VB after several months of use. It shows no signs of wear. When I wash out the whip with alcohol it comes completely clean.

| How do you go about putting your screens in? Mine is all bent up and is indented. It seems hard as hell. |

| Form it into a concave shape over a fingertip and push it in with the eraser end of a pencil. You shouldn't need to take the screen out to clean it or replace it very often. They don't get clogged up with carbon like a pipe screen. After you dump out the residue of spent weed, take a couple of hits off the empty whip. This will vape any resin residue stuck to the screen. When the whip and tube get too cruddy, flush it out with 90% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Evaporate the alcohol and you'll have a tasty treat. See Vaporizer "fringe benefit" - distilled resin. |
