I used one for a few months, pain the azz had to plug it in let it get hot, THEN put the weed (i figured if you let it heat up with the weed your letting some of the thc stick to the crystal glass) then i suck it all up in 1 big hit and two small hits. Not fun, rolling, or packing and preparing is part of the fun in my opinion (imo)

Im very ingenious before i bought one for 30 bucks i made a homemade one.

i took a lightbuld and took out the metal ring i inserted into a cylinder (about a foot long) and wrapped it up in electrical tape. id hold the bulb to the gas stove (not to close that it burns) and inhale id get really blasted really quick. talk about head rush.... thats probably the best part of vaporizers the rush you get. cuz theres no smoke just all vapo thc

still...i dont like vaporizers im more primitive LOL. anyone disagree?

When you use crap vaporizers you get crap results. You're like someone who smokes a joint of ditchweed and decides marijuana sucks, i.e. your opinion is uneducated.

If I gave up on vaporizers after I tried the $10 test tube vape and the $65 BC vape I'd probably have a similar opinion. Conduction vapes do suck in a lot of ways: they tend to overheat part of the weed so that it smokes and underheat the rest so that it doesn't vape at all.

Convection vapes, OTOH, are the cat's meow compared to any smoking method. They produce a better, clearer high. They stretch your stash at least 2:1. They taste better. They're easier on your lungs and throat.

yeah, you put it perfectly. The quality of the vaporizer plays a large role in the experience. If you have negative feelings about vaporizers, you should consider either trying out, or buying, a Volcano brand vaporizer. Although they are outrageously expensive, they are definately the best brand vaporizer, and will NOT dissapoint anyone.

ok i found a picture of one similiar to what i had, i paid like 40 bucks for it at a local headshop, i did my research before buying and i found a good one. I totally understand where you are coming from, ive been there done that. but i still think you get a lot more high smoking it...

The vape you linked to is a conduction vape. You put some weed directly on a metal hot plate. The weed touching the metal tends to get too hot and burn. The weed not touching the metal stays too cold to vape.

A convection vape, like a VaporBrothers or Volcano, moves air heated to the right temperature through a charge of weed. Nothing overheats. Nothing under heats.

When all the good stuff in the weed is exhausted you're left with brown crumbly stuff that smells like popcorn.

A Volcano costs $500. A VaporBrothers costs $130, delivered. As the VB unit vaporizes all the THC in the weed, I'm not sure what you get for the extra $370+, except the "prestige" of owning one of the most expensive vaporizers sold.

Like many of you, the first vapo I ever bought was the fish bowl style. I was disgusted with how poorly it worked, and caused me to do some well needed research. After looking for months all over the internet and using my friends Volcano, it made me choose the Vapolution, and I have never tried anything that was as instantaneous as the Vapolution, not to mention as incredibly affordable. Anyone who is looking for a nice vape that will last a long time and is incredibly durable, this is the one for you. Unlike most, everything you need comes with it. I will never buy another product that isnt a Vapolution!

I made a lightbulb vapourizer and I have used it twice. I absolutely love it. Just a pinch of weed is enough to get high and I don't have light incense to cover the smell. Plus its a ton better for the old lungs.

After smoking for only a few/several months, I noticed an effect on my lungs. So I looked into vaporizers. I wasn't willing to give up MJ so I went with one at a local store. It looks just like the VB one but is by Pure Vaporizers. WOW what a difference. I read people on here saying you only need to use a fraction of what you would smoke, but i was skeptical of that. So I unfortunately used the same, maybe a pinch more. MAN, was that a mistake, lets just say i didn't leave my bed that night, i dont think i could have.
I figure using half to 1/3 of what I smoke is about right.
It is inconvenient, compared to packing a one hitter and smoking real fast, that you can even do in between bar hopping. But, the fact that you need so little MJ and the fact that its healthier make up for that. I don't plan to throw my one hitter away, but only use it when the vap isn't practical and I really want to be high.
Thanks to all who have posted about Vaps or I may not have paid the cash for something I didn't know worked.
